Great Pitstop

We stopped off for a drink a snack. Most things on the menu were vegan or could be made vegan. The couple running it were very friendly and helpful. Shame they aren't open more frequently. Limited opening during the winter. Springs seems to be just weekends and in the summer Thursday to Sunday were possible.

Best food anywhere and lovely place to enjoy seaside

A chocolate drink in my own mug with a vegan cake, sausage roll, quizalla or banana blossom fish and chips is the best anywhere. The menu changes and sometimes Helen does a popup evening at the Cumbria kitchen, which is the other best place.

The bathing hut cafe is next to a bicycle route along the sea front and near West St Leonard's rail station.

Pros: Best vegan food, Continually varying menu, Lovely place to enjoy the sea

Cons: Nice weather venue., Hold on to your food there is always a breeze

This is a good modern but not in the same league of quality and comfort, but it is similarly light to pedal after making some changes. at The Bathing Hut in St Leonards

Great Vegan options

We had the Katsu Tofu Burger and chilli loaded fries with vegan cheese. Both were great, tasted lovely, friendly people and a nice little spot on beach with a few tables to eat from.

Nice stop on a beach walk

Nice seafront outdoor location. Pretty basic vegetarian menu, eg sausage sandwich, chips, salad etc, but given everything is done from inside a cabin, they did well! Tofu burger with katsu sauce was the stand out dish for us. Choice of dairy or vegan cheese.
