Nice decorated food made using Avocado

I paid them a visit in Aug 2017. Waited about 45 minutes to get in. The food is tasty and decorated nicely, but they don't offer many vegan options in my opinion. It's a nice place but If I had a friend asking for a must place to visit in Amsterdam, they wouldn't be in the top of the list.

Beautiful delicious food!

This is a place where they make everything with avocado. They make really beautiful art decorations with the food and have 10 vegan options!

Pros: Beautifully presented food, Amazing taste

Cons: very small portions, very expensive, You have to wait outside to be seated

Underwhelming

We queued outside for a while then were greeted by a less than friendly waitress. We ordered the "Saint Stack" which are the vegan pancakes (the non-vegan ones are called the "Sinner Stack") and asked if they could put some sliced banana on top - we were told this would cost an extra €2.50 (!!) by an uncompromising and again less than friendly waiter.
The pancakes in my opinion were not the best and were slightly dry, but to be fair my boyfriend loved them.
Overall I would say this place is nice for it's novelty value, the food is pretty and the vegan options all sound nice, but our experience was underwhelming and I certainly went to better places in Amsterdam.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Beautifully presented , Novelty factor

Cons: Expensive, Food underwhelming , Staff not super friendly

Flavourful celebration of avocado

Very diverse menu. I had the pumpkin avo toast and it was extremely tasty and beautiful, however I was not full so had small nachos (without cheese/sour cream). It’s easy to fall into the trap of bland avocado but this place does every imaginable trick with it. Highly recommend

awesome experience

We were so happy we made it just in time before they closed! Anyone queuing behind us was not admitted anymore. The vegan options are marked on the menu, the vegan poke bowl looked absolutely amazing and tasted very good. The staff was very friendly and quick. However, it was more like a tourist attraction, too crowded and quite expensive considering the small portions. Still, I am glad I went there on my weekend trip to Amsterdam. I can recommend the vegan poke bowl and the banana smoothie, yum!
It is just around the corner from the Heineken Experience and Vegan Junk Food Bar.

Pros: vegan options marked on the menu, good choice , friendly and quick staff

Cons: too pricey, too touristy

Amazing!!

Whilst this isn’t specifically a veggie/vegan restaurant, there is plenty of choice for vegans! All avocado-based, there is a breakfast and lunch menu. I had a vegan matcha pancake stack that was super yummy, and there were also salads and sandwiches to choose from. The menu is really creative, definitely not standard veggie options, so that was great to discover!
