lovely concept but not that many vegan options. i tried the special pancakes with saffron pistachio pancakes but they were not that special and could’ve been decorated prettier. i liked that the pancakes were red colored tho and you can get a free pin when leaving a review!

Read moreI had regular blueberry waffles with no fancy toppings and they were very underwhelming. Gooey on the inside and not much of a taste besides just sweet.
Staff was very friendly though and they gave me a little discount when I told them that the pancakes weren't that great.
Pros: All coffees made with oatmilk, Friendly staff

In my opinion, more than 2 pancakes from the menu could be veganized, but they only label 2. It's also a shame that there are no dedicated vegan options, only "modifications" that have to be ordered separately. The pancake tasted good and wasn't too expensive though. But the restaurant is clearly intended to appeal to the masses and nothing vegans will fall in love with.
Read moreSimple interior with plastic flowers, discarded school chairs and seating for around 50 people. The kitchen is right next to it, so you can watch. Half an hour after opening, it still smelled a bit like disinfectant.
Small bonus: A few tables have power sockets in case you need them.

Had a very tasty Blue Magic Deluxe pancake breakfast, veganised! Quite a few good pancake options can be made vegan for you. Will be back when I visit Amsterdam again for sure!

Great brunch spot! - Edit
Great little brunch spot with a wide variety of pancakes, they have a couple of vegan options - a berry one and a different sweet vegan ones. Would love to see more but overall we weren't hard pressed to find something we liked! Also serve home pressed, bottled juices.
Read moreWe both had the berry pancakes (blue magic deluxe), I had an apple juice and my partner had watermelon juice - I recommend the apple and the pancakes!
Only room for improvement is to make sure staff know what is and isn't vegan. One staff member told us the whipped cream was vegan but it wasn't (thankfully he corrected this before our order arrived, but someone less attentive might not).
Staff were very friendly.
Toilets are down some steep stairs so not ideal for disabled guests.
With the sudden closure of vegan pancake bar Mr Stacks, these guys are a great alternative!

At Moak you have 4 vegan options. The place is nice and the staff was friendly. I ordered the blue magic deluxe pancakes and they were really good!😌 I did have better vegan pancakes but they were nice.

Read moreThe avocado hummus is fantastic! The pancakes are a bit too sweet for my taste, too much maple syrup, maybe if I would've ordered it on the side it would have been way better!
Had to wait to get in, very crowded.
Service can be a bit slow.
