Awesome - highly recommended - Edit
We visited here for the first time this week and it was awesome! 😋
Read moreWe aren't vegan but we really enjoyed our lunch and even our fussy son ate his hotdog without complaints 👌
We had the haggis & clapshot, macaroni cheese, hotdogs & fries and everything was just perfect.
Friendly & helpful staff, tasty food, and perfect portions at a great price.
We can't wait to come back 🙌
Also love that it's dog friendly 🐶❤

Lots of choice on the menu and the food was very tasty. Took away two very large pieces of vegan cake too! The two members of staff were welcoming and friendly even as it suddenly became very busy, a calm relaxed atmosphere

Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir ! - Edit

Tasty simple vegan food, and excellent staff. - Edit
Beautifully rustic little local cafe with the air of an ethical pop up vegan business. The waiter (possibly the owner) was charming, friendly and welcoming. A good sized menu of honest, tasty vegan comfort food. Hands down the best vegan jack-fish I've ever tasted.

We visited last week. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing.
Read moreWe had the haggis bon bons and garlic mushrooms to start, the haggis, neeps and tatties and lasagne for main. Some of the tastiest vegan food we've had. We also took away some vegan cake that was delicious.

A relaxed vegan café with drinks, meals and cakes. We had the all day breakfast which tasted great and was good value at £6.50 for five items, or add more for £1 each.

Good food, nice atmosphere - Edit
Ordered the pulled pork hot dog and an all day breakfast, both very nice. I liked the homemade sodas, and the cakes were incredible! I had an amazing kinder bueno/red velvet cookie slice. Only downside was a slight delay in service, but understandable considering most places are short staffed currently, and it meant we had more time to admire the place! Overall it’s a lovely place and I would go back to try everything on the menu if I could!

What a great little place. Food was delicious, drinks were delicious. I had the loaded Mac & Cheese with leek and bacon and it was so good and incredibly tasty!!! The vanilla milkshake was also scrumptious. Loved their menu choice and drinks choice. Service was great and very friendly. If we are ever in Inverness again we will definitely eat here again!

We've been to The Alleycat a few times when visiting Inverness and it never disappoints! Our latest visit was in June 2021 and we felt very safe from a Covid perspective. The food as always was delicious and the staff were welcoming and friendly. A great wee place!

Fish and chips - Edit
I went here two weeks ago, on a very wet evening.
Read moreI had the vegan fish and chips, whcih came with peas and tartar sauce. The batter was crispy and it had a good flavor. I believe they use jackfruit, which is always good in my book.
The staff were friendly and very covid aware. I was able to sit at a table, with space around me.
I wasn't able to try any of their other offerings, but if I'm in the area again, I will.
Pros: Good food, Friendly service.

2019 - Edit
I visited here a few times while I stayed in Inverness during a trip in 2019. Had many pleasant chats with the owner while it was quiet in the day. He makes his own oatmilk (hope he still does that!) which made the drinks taste very rich. The place is tiny and tucked away, but they made great use of the little space. Go support vegan business!
