Went down to the mall and That’s Soul Vegan is no longer there but now the space was rebranded KulaKula and no longer vegan.

CLOSED DURING PANDEMIC - Edit
We came off the highway just to eat here as we were passing through the state to find it closed even though they marked themselves as open. Very disappointing.

Not Actually Vegan - Edit
It has recently come to light through former employees that several of their ingredients aren’t vegan or vegetarian. They are also selling expired foods. The owner owns another restaurant that’s not vegan and they sell very similar food.

THEY DO NOT USE VEGAN INGREDIENTS!! - Edit
DISGUSTING!!! The owner intentionally hides non-vegan ingredients and LIES to the public! An employee has REVEALED the “ugly truth” about what goes on in the kitchen!! THEY DO NOT USE ALL VEGAN INGREDIENTS, LIERS!

Sauce on the side please! - Edit
We had the roll and two of the sandwiches. Flavors were there but both the sandwiches were drowning in the sauce. It was too much and took away from the sandwiches. Next time we will be asking for sauce on the side please!

The Best Chicken Sandwich - Edit
I ordered a You Soul Crazy and the Mac and cheese. The sauce on the sandwich was...so good. Creamy and a little spicy-sweet. I couldn't ask for a better sandwich.

If it’s in a mall food court.... - Edit
So we read the reviews and were very excited to try this place. However, we were skeptical because it was in a food court and rightfully so. If it’s in a mall food court then expect mall food quality food. We both ordered the meatloaf and when my girlfriend opened up her container, she commented, “it looks gelatinous”. It looked like pate. Don’t get me wrong it was flavorful. Had good heat but it was served luke warm. The cornbread was dry and I had to mix it into the meatloaf to enjoy it. If it’s in a mall food court....

Dayton Vegan Delight - Edit
We went and had the Soul Stuffed meatloaf, mac n cheese and soul rolls! They were all very tasty and we could tell they were cooked with care. It’s so nice to have an all vegan place near us!

Don’t let the food court fool you. - Edit
A friend and I visited for the first time yesterday. We ordered the beyond meatloaf, cauliflower wings, and some kind of crazy corn / beyond sausage concoction that stole the show. The food and service were great, and not at all what you’d expect in a Dayton Ohio food court. If I had one gripe it would be that for the price of an entire one side item should be included. It’s a hair on the pricy side, but absolutely worth trying.

INCREDIBLE! - Edit
My family and I went in yesterday to check out the new Vegan restaurant. Don't let the food court fool you, the food is home cooked quality! I can see this place easily having their own restaurant in the near future. We each bought an entre and side to pass along the table to try everything out. We were all amazed on how delicious the food was! My favorite was the meatloaf!
