Yum Thai food - Edit
It was yum. Uber app didn't show what was in the veggie spring rolls. Reading reviews here I got the impression they were vegan, but when ordering on uber they came with egg in them.

Cons: The veggie spring rolls contain egg

Really beautiful space, and very tasty food! - Edit
This place is really beautifully designed and decorated, and has a lot of open space. I really liked being in there!
Read moreI ordered the black pepper and garlic stir fry with tofu and jasmine rice and a green tea.
The meal was prepared super fast and tasted really great! The tea was a simple Dilmah tea bag in a pot, and at $5, I thought it was priced way too high. It tasted nice though because I didn’t let it brew for too long.
I’d eat there again!
Pros: Beautiful space , Tasty food
Cons: Over priced tea bag

Delicious Thai food - Edit
We ordered from here through Uber eats, it was super easy to select vegan in the options when ordering - I think everything under the vegetarian selection can be made vegan.
Read moreWe had the Thai Green Curry (super delicious), Satay Peanut Vegetables, and the Pad Thai (as others have said, not your usual Pad Thai - more tomato-y, but still delicious). We also got the fresh summer rolls, which were okay but probably wouldn't get again.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Easy to order on Uber eats, Currys and vegetables dishes come with rice
Cons: Wish they had vegan curry puffs

Best Thai in town - Edit
Love the Thai box and container. Cheap and yummy. You need to know what to order though - the pad Thai was not great as they use tomato paste which is weird. I recommend the green curry, chilli basil tofu, satay vege and the spring rolls.

Cheap and cheerful - Edit
This place has lots of vegan options and is great value for takeaways especially (the average vegan meal including rice is about $11). Staff know what vegan means. Has vegan versions of all the Thai classics - green and red curry, pad Thai, satay, chilli eggplant, Bangkok/drunken noodles etc. Sister restaurant to a Thai Container but the food at Thai Box is better (and also has more chilli when requested).

Bit of prawn found in vegan pad thai - Edit
I asked if they do vegan food, I was told anything can be made vegan, I ordered a pad Thai, I found what looked like a small moth or something in my food, I told the waiter, he said its a piece of prawn. I couldn't eat my meal, and didn't want another, they didn't charge me but weren't very sorry and the waitress at the desk even chuckled about it, will not be back

heaps of vegan options - Edit
I like this place because they can make almost every dish vegan. The portions are also generous and the food comes pretty quickly. Only complaint is the service which has been pretty unfriendly on my last two visits.

Best Thai Option in Christchurch - Edit
Two different menus was a wonderful surprise, myself and work collegues eat here every week for lunch because they have 70 choices on the menu starting for $7 .
Read moreI took my family here on Friday night and discovered they have a different dinner menu, and was pleasantly surprised to hear that most of that can be made Vegan also.
It's a great wee place with wonderful pieces of street art well placed on the walls, and a lot of beautiful planters hanging from the ceiling, warm and cosy and they allow B.Y.O for wine, it's great , would recommend trying it out if you haven't already... i give this a Five star
Pros: Well Priced for the Portion size, B.Y.O Wine , Huge Menu
Cons: They have an outdoor ping pong table , They have colouring books and pencils for kids, they give away heaps of free things on facebook

Really Good Vegan Thai Food - Edit
Wow , was totally blown away with the extent of how many Vegan dishes these kids can make, I was told i could pratically have any dish from the menu made Vegan, this includes curry , which usaully has shrimp paste in it,
Read moreThe young thai girl who served me allowed me to peek into the kitchen to show me they have a Vegan Deep fryer for some of there Entrees , and the chef has also dedicated one wok to Vegan meals, and the Chopping boards are colour coded so vegetables are contaminated with animal products, this place is awesome, the owners son is Vegan, so it helps explain how conscious they are about it, great food and very fresh and healthy, will definitely be back, lunchtime and takeaway is around $10-15 dollars, dine in at dinner time is about $20 but its a huge portion , 5/5
Pros: large portions, dedicated fryer and wok for vegans, huge variety
Cons: can get really busy

Love this place - Edit
Great food, great service, awesome atmosphere (cool art!) and tons of vegan options. Max rating for a non vegetarian place is 4 stars but if I could, I'd give it 5. I've had vegan pad thai and vegan peanut satay with vegetables and enjoyed both thoroughly. Good if you have to go out with meat eating friends and they're not keen for pure vegetarian. This place has given me and my dining partners complimentary food both times - once, fresh spring rolls as an entre, and tonight fresh watermelon after our meal (it's a killer hot day so very welcome!). Very satisfied!!
