Amazing! - Edit
Such a fulfilling meal, and so nice to find a veggie place in Iwaki. The owner has been vegetarian for over 30 years. Not sure if it’s always the case, but today it was omakase and we were served mushroom latkes, seitan, salad, a polenta cake of some sort, rice, soup with veggie meatballs, and a green juice. Absolutely delicious and so satisfying.

The cook and owner was very friendly and explained what’s in the food. Tell her you’re vegan and she’ll tell you how it was like being vegan for more than 20 years in rural Japan ❤️
