Vegan Pistachio ice cream!!! - Edit
I’ve been vegan for 12 years now and more than anything else, I have craved a really good vegan pistachio ice cream. I’ve tried one brand that has it in pints but the sugar level was insane - cloyingly sweet! But all that changed when I came across Sweet Scoops in Sonoma Plaza! How fortunate for me that on their rotating vegan flavors was a pistachio! So good, very creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. Hoping to go back every night I’m on vacation to get my fill! 😄

It was nice to see an ice cream shop in Wine Country with three vegan flavors, but the texture didn’t do it for me. It was a bit too icy rather than creamy. And $3.50 for a tiny cup seemed rather steep.

They had three vegan flavors when we went so I got two scoops of chocolate in a bowl. It was good but not the best vegan chocolate ice cream I’ve ever had. I had to try it though because I feel like it is so rare to find a vegan chocolate flavor anywhere. Seems like the flavors rotate so I’ll have to go back to try a different flavor. Shop is very cute! Two scoops for $5.50

Homemade Vegan Nice Cream! - Edit
Sweet Scoops is in lovely Sonoma on the Plaza. I like to get my cone & enjoy it in the park across the street. Joe's ice cream is all homemade including his vegan flavors. There is always at least one vegan flavor available and during the warmer months he offers at least two. The shop is small and adorably decorated. The nice cream is delicious and well worth supporting a vegan dessert option in Sonoma!
