Must Go if in the SLC Area! - Edit
I’ve been here about 4 times and it has never disappointed! The food is so so yummy, and the staff is so lovely and kind. I’ve gotten the Club Sandwich, the Turky Sandwich, the chicken sandwich, and the sausage-egg-cheese muffin and yum yum yum!! Everything is delicious! Their homemade candy bars are to die for as well! Must go if you are visiting SLC

Best vegan restaurant in Salt Lake City - Edit
Truly the best clean, fresh vegan restaurant that I have ever had the pleasure to eat at. I travel a lot and I am always looking for great food and a clean restaurant. This is it ! You won’t regret eating here. I just wish we could enjoy a nice glass of wine also. But there is always takeout!

Incredible - Edit
Have had their candy bars at a local vegan store on Long Island. Ordered the Turkey Club Sandwich, McHaze, a cosmic brownie, and tiramisu for lunch to share. Everything was so delicious and so flavorful. We were headed down to Capitol Reef so we grabbed Mac and cheese, a bean and cheese burrito, and a beef, bean, and cheese burrito for dinner out of the fridge. We ended up eating them pretty room temperature several hours later and they were still great. We also grabbed a breakfast burrito from the grab and go, and ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, both of which we heated up for breakfast the next morning and thoroughly enjoyed. We returned to grab candy bars on the last day of our trip when we got back to SLC. We ordered their take on the snickers, Twix, Milky Way, and a few others. Everything was delicious! Staff was extremely kind as well. Highly recommend!

I've had multiple things here and have loved it all. The BLTA may be my favorite. The bacon is so delicious! A couple of times I got something different from what I ordered but what they brought out was still good.

This hit the spot after our travels! Food was delicious and environment welcoming. I loved the veggie sandwich and side salad! My daughter enjoyed the teriyaki burger made with a Beyond Burger. The yogurt bowl had the “best yogurt ever” according to our other daughter. Finally the breakfast burrito was enjoyed by my husband. We hope we have the opportunity to return.

Midvale has its vegan gem - Edit
We heard rumblings of this place called Sweet Hazel our entire trip and as we wound down our SLC visit we knew we had to give it a try. An adorable little dinner l, Sweet Hazel has it all. The menu is your standard Diner fare but with little tweaks. They also have a small grocery area filled with tasty made vegan candies, chocolates and pastries. We've found yet another gem in Salt Lake. I had a BLAT with fries and THE best vegan fry sauce I've ever had. Husband had a Sausage, egg and cheese sandwich with Hash browns. Fry sauce was so good we ordered extra fries and nuggets. A must visit.

😮 INSANE vegan candy bars! - Edit
These candy bars from Sweet Hazel are AMAZING - a must-try if you’ve been missing out on some nostalgic childhood classics! I treated myself to their candy sampler and my mind was blown 🤯 ..these are even better than the originals. My favorites were the vegan Crunchies (Twix) and the Snix (Snickers) bars.

This is not only one of the best restaurants in SLC, it’s one of the best in the county. This was some of the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had and the lasagna special was insanely delicious and authentic. This place is truly a gem in the vegan food scene.

This is a great vegan restaurant! You can get your food to go or dine in at the booths or tables. There is plenty of seating available. I liked how it is decorated! It is a very clean place! They make really good sandwiches! Everyone in our group really liked what they ordered. The Philly sandwich is good even the carnivores liked it!
Read moreThey have really good cakes, brownies and sweet treats, ice cream and candies. The whipped cream they top on the sundaes is really good they make!
It is so nice to have so many options to have a vegan dessert or a treat!
We went back for breakfast and really enjoyed everything we had! They serve huge pancakes that I have never seen that thick or big! The tofu scramble is good and the bacon is crispy and good tasting. The breakfast burrito is really good! We got to talk with the really nice owner both times we were there! It is nice to have a vegan restaurant so close to our area that is in the center of the Salt Lake valley and close freeway access.

Sweet Hazel’s is cute, fun, ethical, and Yummy! We typically stop in for desserts when we visit the city, but we’ve had breakfast there once. The puff pastry sandwich is my fave! We haven’t had one thing that we didn’t enjoy and we’ve tried at least 10 different dessert options.

Lots of variety on the menu. The bakery items were awesome but so was the food! Loved the BLTA (super crispy bacon) and the key lime pie the most, but everything was great!
