Read moreI am absolutely delighted with Sweet Alps Ice Cream in Summerfield! As a passionate vegan ice cream lover, I was overwhelmed by the excellent selection of plant-based flavors. The "Vegan Joy" with roasted almond slivers and vegan chocolate chunks made from oats was particularly enchanting. The creamy texture was a true delight and by far the best I've ever tasted.
The German chocolate plant-based flavor was also a sublime indulgence. Thanks to the friendly staff, I could sample all the flavors - a privilege for which I was happy to pay the small surcharge. This ice cream is a fantastic dairy-free alternative and is homemade on-site. Sweet Alps Ice Cream has exceeded my highest expectations and is a clear recommendation for all ice cream lovers, whether vegan or not.

They had seven vegan flavors when we visited, unfortunately There’s a $1.50 up-charge for them.

Pleasantly surprised - Edit
I found this little place by accident and was pleasantly surprised to see they were advertising vegan options on the sandwich board outside. Inside the vegan options were separated from the rest of the ice creams and were clearly labeled (coconut based). I got a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of Vegan Joy, which is like an almond joy. They were both exceptionally creamy and good. They also sell by the pint, and I was lucky to snag a pint of vegan pumpkin for half off. I wish I knew about this place sooner and will definitely be back.
