A bit underwhelmed but grateful for the vegan options - Edit
Got the tofu teriyaki and it was just tofu along side white rice. Not much sauce at all and no vegetables or anything else. Veggie sushi was ok but a little skimpy on the ingredients not much flavor, and there was no wasabi or soy sauce (to go order). They have a vegan option for miso soup, which was not the greatest or the worst. Got the vegetable gyoza. Was soggy and burnt at the same time. All this said, it was still edible and not the worst. Grateful to eat and have vegan options.

Best Sushi Chefs in the area - Edit
Sushi Spot Chefs always take the challenge seriously and nail it when it comes to custom vegan roll reguest. They literally kill it. Lots of fun rolls on the menu and their house salad is the best.

Better options in the area for vegan sushi - Edit
There are options for vegans here, but they are pretty sparse, and quite expensive, especially compared to other nearby sushi places, which have higher quality vegan sushi.

Very limited options - Edit
Sushi Spot had a very limited vegetarian menu, and only a small handful of vegan options. 2 stars for having options that at least don’t require modification. Most vegetarian rolls used tempura batter, so I was limited to the kappa rolls. I also ordered a plate of teriyaki tofu. The server had to check with the kitchen if the item was vegan. The teriyaki tofu plate was rather dry and the kappa rolls came in a very small portion (6 small rolls).
Read moreSushi Spot needs to improve their selection of vegan rolls and dishes and needs to have explicit labels on their menu. I appreciate that they had options for me to eat, but the lack of selection and small serving sizes mean I’ll be trying out one of the other spots next time I’m in town looking for sushi. Additionally, the staff seemed somewhat scattered and forgot basics such as a spoon for soup or soy sauce for the rolls.
