Bomb vegan rolls! - Edit
They have several rolls that are vegan here and super tasty. The Karroke is vegan too. They have organic tamari available on request since Kikkoman is evil to duck's. Veggie miso available too!

Great plant-based options! Not a fan of the cocktails as they seemed a little weak, but the food and service made up for it. Our waitress recommended a tasty tempura yam w strawberry roll for dessert.

Read moreTip: do not stay at the hotel. We thought it was a 2-for-1 bonus but the hotel is awful/ rip-off/ loud, in case you were in a similar spot as we were.

Great Tofu Options - Edit
I recommend Tomo’s fully as a vegan-accessible joint. The tofu teriyaki is amazing, their edamame options are delicious, and the options of tofu for sushi substitutes are wonderful. Highly recommend.

Best sushi in Humboldt! - Edit
I am from Arcata and this is my go-to food place for delicious vegan sushi. I highly recommend the Buddha Belly hand roll, Strawberry Dream roll, East West roll, Tempura Yam roll, Tofu Teryaki, or Humboldt Hunny. They can also do vegan Miso Soup. Great price and fantastic atmosphere. Yummy!

Tofu in all forms - Edit
I am not sure I have ever come across a sushi / Japanese restaurant with that many veg*n options on the menu, with especially several dishes with various forms of tofu. The main drawback though is that veg items are not labelled on the menu, which makes the reading and choice a bit long. The food was all good and tasty, with nice service as well!
