I have visited Surfin' Tacos quite a few times, in fact I did add this listing 3 years ago, as well as their new location in Poza last December and their sister company Flyin' Burritos two years ago. My visits, while not frequent, have always been enjoyed, especially in a city that isn't exactly spoiled for choice when it comes to Mexican food. Also, I was pleased to realise they have finally stopped using one-use plates; not sure about the cutlery, but the glasses were still plastic or plastic-like, hopefully in the process of being phased out. Strangely enough, it was only yesterday that I realised a comment on the receipt, encouraging customers to leave a review on a competing, mainstream non-veg website within 10 days of the visit in order to get a free beer. I don't drink alcohol and when I asked staff, she didn't even know about HappyCow.. but it sounded as if she was willing to give me (and possibly all other reviewers here) the same privilege, in the form of horchata, hibiscus or something like that. I guess I can always take this back if it turns out not to be the case, haha.
Read moreUpdate from this morning - phew, it had to be a review on that particular website (which kinda rhymes with Cheap & Wiser) in order to get a much-needed free drink. I still like their stuff, but I'm lowering their rating due to favoritism.

Very tasty and authentic food - Edit
Went there with three Mexican friends and all approved the authenticity of the food. Alle vegetarian options can be made vegan - just asked for at the counter. The food was very delicious and the prices are okay. I recommend to order at least two dishes (because of the taste, but also because of the size of the dishes).

The flavour was good but I think they don't know how to cook veggies without making it too wet. The texture was unpleasant.

Had the guac totopos and mushroom and veggie pastor tacos. All were very good and quite authentic. Not stingy with the guacemole either😄Obviously not fully vegan so I can’t give it 5 stars but very good nonetheless.
