New larger premises for Supernatural Cafe. Lots of vegan choices. During the day it's a sit down and take away food Supernatural Kitchen serving curries, pastas, rice dishes, burritos, tacos, sandwiches, paninis, jackets and sweet potato jackets. Also has a salad bar and smoothies and fruit juices. All food is vegan but reported to serve cow's milk for drinks. Open Mon-Wed 09:00-20:00, Thu-Sat 09:00-22:00, Sun 10:00-20:00.

super comfortable cafe is more like it! dining on hand made and inspired foods in a living room type setting, with newspapers, delicious pastries, decent coffee and assorted vegan treats by other conscious companies. i had two spectacular meals here, including a re-imagined english Lincolnshire breakfast! it made me feel, truly, like i was at home. great people, with a progressive open stance on equality and compassion, with a dedicated view of what it means to be vegan.

Pros: comfortable setting, multitudinous creative menu options, super huge menu!
Cons: needs better cooking ventilation, restrooms are a hike down the hall and shared, could step up the coffee quality, a minor thing!

Divine Vegan Afternoon Tea - Edit
Visited with two omni friends for a birthday treat. We received a warm welcome and soon offered drinks which were included(tea or coffee). Andrew checked our dietary requirements before preparing everything( one of us doesn’t eat milk or butter(vegan or otherwise) and I can’t eat bread. )Nothing was too much trouble. We search received our own double layered afternoon tea with an assortment of sandwiches, quiches, cakes,scones , mini cheesecake and trifle. Every mouthful was divine and my omni friend - who is quite the afternoon tea connoisseur- said it was the best one she had ever eaten. The cafe is cozy, comfortable and relaxed.

Right around the corner from my hotel .. had the Super Natural burger ! Tasted great .. made with nuts high protein ! Great side of roasted potatoes and coke slaw ( which I normally wouldn't eat but this tasted great ) .. topped off with a very moist vegan brownie and an espresso ! Nice staff who even told me a drink I was ordering wasn't vegan ..

Visiting Newcastle for the first time, Happy Cow and some Googling led us here for breakfast and we've already planned how to see the city and make time for a lunch, afternoon snack (cake!) and dinner back here today. Our vegan breakfast was superb. great value, plenty of it and the best sausages we've had as vegans. Our milkshakes, chocolate and strawberry were perfect. Great friendly service and a lovely setting. Perfect and looking forward to the rest of the day's delights!

We enjoyed our food but the cakes for dessert stole the show - they were so good! Need to arrange another trip to Newcastle so that we can visit again...

I always forget to leave a review about how much I love this place as soon as I leave - so I'm doing it while I'm here instead. I cannot rate Super Natural enough. I loved the old venue, and the new location is just as fantastic. I come here every time I visit Newcastle without fail.
