Some of the best lunch that we had on our road trip. Lots of options to choose from...I had the falafel wrap with the special artichoke salad, hummus and baba ghanoush. Everything was super fresh and delicious....next time I’m in town I will for sure stop in.

Lots of very filling, tasty vegan options. It was nice having options other than salad! They had lots of vegan menu items, from soup and salads to sandwiches, wraps and stir fry. The Thai Wrap was delicious and the hummus was great. I like that you can choose sides like hummus or soup. Definitely a great lunch spot for Vegans and healthy eaters alike.

You must try the Thai Tofu wrap with a side salad in their cilantro lime dressing!!! Omg so good!! It's what I always order when we visit and I'm drooling just thinking about how flavorful and warming this wrap is. And the salad cools you down with its creamy tangy dressing. I order a hot coffee to wash it down and they happily offer your almond creamer and stevia.

We’ve been traveling through the South and having a tough time finding healthy vegetarian. Sunflower Cafe was a delicious stop. It’s not fancy but exactly what we needed...great intentional vegan and vegetarian food. Not vegetarian? No problem, they have you covered. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!

I've been wanting to come here for quite a while now and finally got the chance to a few days ago. The people in Virginia's were super friendly and as were the people in Sunflower. The food was absolutely delicious and honestly the best I've had the nine years I've lived here. I definitely recommend stopping by.

It is so nice to be able to go to a place that had more than 2 choices for those of us who choose to be herbivores!! I went with my family and between the 3 of us I tried 4 things... an appetizer and 3 entrees (rather 1 entree and a bite of reach of theirs!) it was difficult to choose because they had so many options that looked tempting, but then we each ordered something different. Each meal was beautiful on the plate, tasty on the lips, & filling to the tummy!! This is a must try place... and omnivores are welcome as long as they like high quality meats and cheeses!

Delicious Sandwich - Edit
This is a great little restaurant in the back of Virginia's Health Food. It doesn't feel like it is shoved into a store, it is a nice space all it's own. The menu is very clearly marked. I had a sandwich with tofurkey, avocado and sprouts that was delicious. My only complaint is the size of the sides. I got chips and fruit and it was literally 4 corn chips, and about 1/4 cup of fruit. So small! But the sandwich was awesome and I'll be back again.

The Sunflower Cafe is located inside Virginia's Health Foods (at the back). We were very pleased with our first visit here. The restaurant is clean and attractive and inviting. A large chalkboard lists the daily specials. My husband and I are fairly new vegans, and usually find it frustrating to dine out in coastal Alabama/Mississippi. We had so many choices here, and everything was clearly marked whether vegan, vegetarian: soups, salads, grain bowls, pasta, sandwiches. I had the lemongrass grain bowl with tempeh which was good. My husband had the Thai peanut pasta which he LOVED. Service was very good. We will definitely be coming here again when in Mobile!
