Taste Good - Edit
The food tastes really good. I ordered the Coconut Vegetable Korma, samosas, and naan. I wasn’t a fan of their version of mint chutney, but other than that, everything else was great.

Tasty Hole in the Wall - Edit
The building was literally falling apart, leaks in the ceiling, sticky floor…. However, the delicious food and great service made up for it.

A Favourite Of Mine - Edit
I've been here many times and have always had pleasant experiences. There's a younger lady who is always super kind and actually came to our table to show me all of the vegan options on the menu. I usually just get the channa masala because it's amazing. Their tea is also really good. If you've been considering stopping in, definitely do so. It's a great place with great food and a very kind staff.

Good food - Edit
I really enjoyed this place while I was in Mobile. I used to eat there at least once or twice a month. The food is really heavy, but delicious. The actual restaurant itself is a bit... dirty? But again, the food is really good.

Cross contam - Edit
I was disappointed as they knew not what a vegan might be. The menu would work for a vegetarian most everything is creamy.

Vegan - More Than Just Food - Edit
We had tickets to see Lord Huron at Soul Kitchen in Mobile Alabama which is about an hour from home. As most vegans do, we searched ahead of time for a vegan restaurant to eat at before the show. We ended up at Yak Katmandu and had a wonderful experience. The dishes were freshly prepared vegan foods cooked perfectly authentic with Indian spices. The place is very small, but clean and quaint. The server was very attentive and genuinely kind. We asked her to thank the kitchen staff and we heard her go back and do so as we left. Being vegan isn’t only about food. Its about living in a consciously aware state if gratitude, honesty and kindness, which we experienced at Yak.
