Best Vegan Diner Food in Tucson - Edit
Substance has great sandwiches, we really love the Philly style mushroom cheese steak sandwich, and the spicy chick'n. Their Sonoran dog is hands down the best in town with all the best add-ons. They also have desserts and drinks. Use the Food Truck app for pickup, or delivery through DoorDash.

Good but a little fatty - Edit
Had the kale Caesar salad with grilled seitan and the hot dog. The salad was good, especially the sauce. The fried croutons on the salad however were very fatty which was sad. The hot dog was also good and she even gave us fries for free! Would come back!

The food truck is small and hidden in an alley near the side of a building, so I almost couldn’t find it, but I’m glad I did.

It’s definitely a must-stop for vegans in Tucson!
I recommend that you get the food to go. There are only two small stools for seating, and they only seem to be for show.

Affordable and DELICIOUS. It is one of my favorite vegan spots in Tucson. ALL items on the menu are vegan. Yummy “chicken” sandwich, fried pickles, perfect fries, amazing salad-try it all, it’s all so good. Camper diner is parked at MotoSonora Brewery (dog friendly beer garden) that often has live music and very vibrant atmosphere. Love it when buinesses support each other.

I had the Caesar salad with the tofu bacon (which is insanely good) and the spicy "chicken" sando. The Caesar salad was one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had, vegan or not! The sando was perfect, soft bun, super crispy chicken, perfect level of spice.

cure food truck!!came here because cashew cow was closed for a shake and got a strawberry malt! i think a shake with that flavor wouldve been better but it was still really good, very thick. i also got a side of their cajun fries that were good, a little spicy but so filling since they were steak fries. small size i couldnt even finish. their homemade ranch was good too. love the aesthetic of this place, my food took 20 mins since there was only one guy working on a wednesday night so be patient! no outdoor seating

Substance is amazing and caters to the vegan community in town. The substance burger is my favorite and is vegan by default. The burger sauce is awesome! I’ve also had the spicy frickin sandwhich and strawberry shake. Both were awesome!
