Previously called Sù Mǎn Xiāng SùShí 素满香素食. Open Mon-Sat 10:00am-9:00pm, Sun 11:30am-1:30pm, 5:30pm-8:00pm.

We must of went during peak lunch rush because the buffet was pumping full of people at 12:30 pm on a weekday.

A five star plus was it being the first Buddhist (I think) place so far we have visited in China that had a cold drink (cold lemon tea).

Awesome vegan buffet - Edit
We went there shortly before closing time. The buffet still had all the food one could wish for. Thanks to the photos from other users we were able to find the correct elevator to the restaurant.

Amazing value for money, so many different options on offer. I went back 3 days in a row and the staff are really smiley. They're open 11:20 - 13:30 and 17:20 - 20:00. Everything was really tasty, so many different varieties of tofu.

I love everything about this place. Huge variety of foods, very cheap, and everything is delicios. If you expect something you can buy in a European Chinese restaurant, maybe you will be disappointed, but I rather enjoy the new foods and different taste. 🙂

Honestly a bit disappointing - Edit
After travelling around China and enjoying many incredible fully vegan buffets, I was excited to try this one too. Unfortunately it was quite underwhelming. The food overall was quite average in terms of taste, nothing to rave about.

Great buffet! Lots of options and only 20 yuan. It is difficult to find! The elevator entrance picture from d.vegan was most helpful, and the entrance is actually on the pedestrian street Minquan Road. Use Apple Maps like the other review says to search Suyixiang Vegetarian Cafeteria.

20 kuai entry free and then all you can eat vegan buffet. Right in the center of 解放碑 (Jiefangbei/Liberation square). Tons of options and everything is fully vegan. The name of the store is now sù yí xiāng 素颐香.

Almost everything is vegan (ask to double check as the menu changes), there's an incredible choice and no additives. It's a little hard to find, just use this address in Amaps or a taxi app and see the submitted photos to find the lift that takes you there and go to the fourth floor: 素颐香素食自助餐厅(解放碑店)

Good flavors, and very inexpensive at 25 yuan per person for all you can eat. More variety than your average vegetarian buffet in China. Soups, noodles, salad, steamed buns, dumplings, deep fried things like pakora, steamed veggies, spicy foods, lightly flavored foods, typical Chinese stir fry, a couple of drinks (unsweetened; add sugar to taste), bready things, desserts.

Very large selection, both oily Sichuanese for and healthy plain options. Good for trying lots of stuff, cheap, and filling. Maybe I should rate it better in it's own terms. But I've also had much better food. It's the kind of stuff people really eat at home, though. ¥25
