Great vegan bakery - Edit
Had the lemon square and the frozen hot chocolate which hit hard during the heat wave. Took home a frozen vegan pot pie for dinner as well, cant wait to try it!

A variety of treats. - Edit
They have so many options for dietary restrictions. It is such an awesome feeling to be able to go in and pick whatever you would like without worrying if it is vegan or not.
Read moreThey have expanded what they have available in terms of chocolate bars. They even have vegan tolblerones!

Some better than others - Edit
We find their cupcakes and cakes a bit dry, and now know to choose something a little more moist. Their lemon bar and Nanaimo bar are delicious. I’m appreciative that this bakery exists, it’s nice to have so many GF vegan options.

Yummy vegan & gluten-free desserts - Edit
The cinnamon bun was absolutely delicious! There was a thick layer of vegan cream cheese frosting, and the bun itself was soft and gooey. I can't believe it was gluten-free! The Nanaimo bar is amazing as well.
Read moreThe store also has many take-home trays of cinnamon buns, pies, cakes, cheesecakes, etc. I'll definitely have to pick up some of those take-home trays for holiday parties.
There is no seating area, takeout only.

Delicious - Edit
I'm shocked every time I enter by the variety of options, all of which are vegan and gluten free. Everything I have tried has been delicious. Maybe not perfect if you approach from a background of baked goods made with dairy and gluten, but spectacular if you appreciate the diversity and creativity of the options.

Vegan and gluten-free bakery - plus ice cream! - Edit
Everything is vegan, and also gluten-free (and nut-free and kosher). Scones, muffins, date squares, soy-free bread, mini cakes, brownies, coffee beans, ice cream, custom-decorated cakes, take-and-bake items, including pizzas, pie dough balls, Jamaican patties, pizza pockets. I had an iced oatmilk latte (soy, oat and coconut milks available) and took away a maple cinnamon bun, cheddar rosemary scone and tofu scramble bite. (The scone and cinnamon bun, being gluten-free, are not as light as regular flour items.) Among the cold and hot drinks is a “s’mores frappé” for $5.50, which sounds interesting! I really want to try their ice cream...

What a disappointment! - Edit
On a l'impression de rentrer dans un lieu en plein déménagement : un vrai désordre ! Ce n'est pas accueillant du tout, c'est dommage, l'espace offre un vrai potentiel.

One/null star - Overloaded with sugar - Edit
Cupcakes and brownies were too sweet. Cake pop looked delicious but tasted like chalk dipped in refined sugar.

Cons: Too sweet, Sugar overshadowed other flavours

I believe the 2 star minimum is due to the establishment being fully vegan.

Okay - Edit
I’ve tried the desserts here a few times (in store and from Farm Boy) and sadly haven’t been impressed. I find there to be a lack of flavour and products are expensive. I appreciate the allergen and vegan options though so maybe they just aren’t for me.

I love this little vegan bakery! They always have a huge selection of baked goods & sometimes you can get a deal on day olds (which in my opinion are still golden). Muffins, cookies, cakes, scones etc. In the summer time you can even get an icecream cone!

I haven't been to visit the shop in person, yet, but have tried just about everything available for purchase at Farm Boy, and am absolutely in love!!

Everything is vegan and gluten free and absolutely delicious. Cinnamon buns are otherworldly! Probably important to note that you can’t sit in at the bakery, it’s more of a pick up and go kind of place, there’s no seating.

AMAZING - Edit
Ive been vegan for almost a year, so when my mom came home with a whole lot of stuff from Strawberry Blonde Bakery I was super excited! She bought me a faux chicken pot pie (10/10, made with tofu), a loaded baked potato pizza with daiya, roasted potatoes and coconut bacon, cookie sandwich with icing in between and brownies. All i can say is i cant wait to get more!

My favourite vegan bakery! - Edit
This is a small, vegan, gluten-free and nut-free bakery in the Wellington West area of Ottawa. They have UNREAL pizza buns (with DAIYA CHEESE!!) and cinnamon buns! Cupcakes are just the perfect amount of sweet, and it's hard to believe they are gluten-free. They have their recipes down pat and they know their stuff :)

Strawberry Blonde Bakery Makes my Heart so HAPPY! - Edit
These gals know what is up! From incredibly amazing delicious products to stellar customer service you will not be dissapointed by your visit to SBB. I continuously get wowed by each new product and my favourites tend to switch by day. But my go-tos are the power cookie (great as a breaky on the go), the cinnamon buns (who needs cinnabon?), the maple chai cupcakes and that tasty pizza bun I tried at the grand opening. The sugar cookies you will see hanging around are great little dippers for tea and were a hit last year at Christmas and finally I love getting the lemon blueberry muffins. Get your tushies down to SBB and let them make your hearts and tummies happy too.

Cons: Risk of weight gain from so many treats!
