Craving ever since - Edit
We got the sausage rolls and a sandwich for lunch and both were excellent, 10/10. Then we got four different desserts and shared them and the lowest rated one still came in at an 8/10.

Nice selection - Edit
Great dessert and frozen food selection. Wishing the drink sizes could be bigger for the price. Wishing some cultural foods could be featured on the menu once in a while. Pretty friendly service but loses points for being quite pricey.

Delicious and Allergy Friendly - Edit
I was so pleased with how many gluten free options there were as it can be hard to find gluten free and vegan deserts! I tried the Gluten free cookie dough brownie and it was delicious and so colourfully decorated I felt like a little kid excited for desert! My partner tried their maple scone and it smells exactly like maple cookies! Will definitely be returning for more treats in the future!

Lovely vegan bakery - Edit
Lovely little vegan bakery with lots of fun seasonal flavors! Their cakes and donuts are delicious. I had their caramel honeycomb cake by the slice, it was so decadent. In addition to sweets, they also offer hot & cold drinks, ice cream in the summer, and savory items including ready-to-eat meals (fresh & frozen).
Read moreThere is no seating area, it's take-out only. Masks are required. They take cash and card payments. The only thing I find a bit strange is that the prices aren't listed, you have to ask.

Many options - Edit
We popped in to pick up some frozen goods and purchased some bakery items as well. The cookies and the flakies were very yummy, though they were crunchier than I would have expected. We also picked up a couple of sandwiches for the road as we are from out of town and were heading home. The sandwiches were great, fresh ingredients and well proportioned to the bun. The staff member we dealt with was great. I especially liked that they had preserves labeled as locally queer owned. I wasn't planning on buying jelly that day, but the sign caught my eye!

Disapointed - Edit
I took the Pumpkin Pop tart. It was 6.50$, was supposed to have "jam in it" ... There was not even a spoon of it. The sweet was not really tasty for the price.

Ottawa is so lucky to have Little Jo! I love their savory stuff and of course their desserts, the cakes are works of art. Staff is super friendly and the neighborhood is lovely.

Very expensive for the quality - Edit
There is a lot of enthusiasm around this place. It's true that we don't have many 100% vegan places in Ottawa.
Read moreThe pastries are delicious.
However, the last time I ate a savoury dish, it was so salty and greasy that I was sick all evening.
Also, the prices are very high and many of the prices are not even posted in the store, which I think is not even legal.

Small cafe with vegan junk food. The breakfast is really good. The ice cream is also delicious. The pastries, such as donuts and pop tarts, etc are original and remind me of my childhood.

SO tasty and cute - Edit
This is my fave cafe/dessert place in Ottawa. Heck, it is one of my faves in Canada. The fruity poptarts are amazing and anything pie-like has been extra noteworthy. The pizzas are so good too. They are also a socially conscious business ran by some super cool people.

Great local bakery/coffeeshop - Edit
Have been coming to Little Jo Berry's since it opened. They have yummy pastries & desserts on the indulgent side, great 'milk'shakes, kombucha, lunch specials & combos, regular coffees, pizza on friday, and sometimes macaroons by KittyKate Confections. They also stock Mad Faux Cheese, Beyond Meat, Top Shelf Preserves, Hungry Babe, Vegan Magic, and a few other local vegan food vendors.
Read moreVery community oriented, they collab often and raise money for local charities. Safe space for LGBTQ & people who have accessibility needs.
Nice interior, white & some colorful accents. Two 4seat tables, two 2seat tables, and two bars with 3stools each (one near the back).
Pros: Lots of dessert options, Welcoming staff & atmosphere

Good vegan food - Edit
The ambiente inside is really nice and they offer a variety of sweet and savory baked goods, also to go. The scones we tried were good, but not stunning, could habe been a bit more fluffy. We also tried a hearty snack which was tasty, especially with the garlic dip. A lot of gluten free options.

Amazing queer friendly and intersectional vegan cafe. Tons of baked goods, ice cream, milkshakes, and savory food options that change all the time. You can also buy vegan cheese here. I’ve also made special orders for holidays and they had the best Mac n Cheese and seitan roast.

Highly recommended - Edit
I came here with my girlfriend and my brother. We were all incredibly pleased with the sweets here. If you can't handle sweets, you might want to consider sharing. And what blows my mind is that they have so many gluten free options as well. So if you're gluten free and vegan, you should seriously consider this place.

LOVE IT HERE!!! - Edit
Little Jo Berry's has AMAZING vegan baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and pizza's (on Fridays). I was in Ottawa for 12 days and we went to Little Jo's probably 5 times. My favorites were the "Twinkies", the peaches and cream cookie sandwich, and the pop-tarts! I also got a seitan steak sandwich for the plane ride home and it was incredible.

Went yesterday for a treat. The chili bun was fantastic. The chocolate cook sandwich was good. A little sweet for me. But if you like super sweet than definitely get it. They had a large variety to pick from. Would return to try more of the menu.
