The Curry Will Not Disappoint

The yellow curry is vegan and awesome. Also added steamed tofu.

All the curries are vegan. Actually, almost the entire menu is vegan. Def excited to try more options!

Pros: Solid portions, Lots of vegan options , Plenty of space with cool couch in back

Asian food with plant-based options

First time here. Plenty of parking available in the lot. Seems like they get a lot of to go orders. Indoor dining is available. Staff is super friendly. I placed an order to go but wound up eating here instead because of the heavy rain that was falling outside. Several different vegan options available. I had the shiitake wide noodles. Decent portion size. I also ordered the orange tofu under the sweet N’ sticky category. Good flavor. Good portion size. These come as is in the sense that it doesn’t come with anything additional. You have the option to add additional items. I also added a side of vegan fried rice. All the food was good. Nothing knocked me off my feet, but there are enough options to keep me coming back and trying new things. Reasonably priced as well.

Shiitake Noodles 😋 Vegan Kimchi

There are ample vegan options at Stiks - so much so I had a hard time ordering. The menu has clearly marked vegan options and a separate menu for vegan boba. If I were a local, I’d probably hit up Stils regularly 😌 not at all disappointing.

Pros: Lots of Vegan options by default, Kind service , Vegan Kimchi

My favorite Asian in the area!

I love Stiks! Everything in the menu is clearly marked vegan and I appreciate that they offer vegan dishes that you don’t have to modify! I love the Garden stir fry veggies and vegan fried rice. I add tofu for protein! The orange tofu is also very good. And have to get the veggie spring rolls! My only complaint is I wish they had more on the menu.

Pros: Vegan clearly marked, Delicious

Many clearly marked vegan options.

Taste good. I wish they had a larger selection of veggie options to add than the one standard. Maybe some crunchy veggie options like snow pea pods. When I ordered a veggie topper it was a little overcooked for me. I appreciate that you can get the tofu topper cooked multiple ways. Some oil oil free options would be great too as some noodle options I have had were oily. Prices seem a little high especially if you add tofu and or veggies. I think they would sell a lot more at little lower price. It is very cute inside and they are nice and helpful.

Amazing, delicious choices!

We came here after a day at the beach and it did not disappoint. Plenty of vegan options, clearly marked on their menu. My husband and I were so excited to try everything, but we got shiitake wide noodles, vegan pad Thai, side vegan fried rice, orange tofu, fresh tofu roll, and the vegan lavender boba tea. I could’ve gone without the tofu roll and orange tofu since we usually make those at home, but otherwise everything was delicious!! Do yourself a favor and make sure you try the garlic chili oil to amp up the flavor even more (we bought a jar to take home).

Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Clearly marked , Made to order

Cons: Not enough room in my stomach.

New favorite spot in Sarasota

This place is terrific for lunch and I will have to come back sometime for dinner. I consider myself fairly well-versed in this kind of food and everything I had was flavorful and authentic and awesome. I highly recommend the vegan curry noodle soup and the pandan Boba tea. I saw someone complaining about the pho, and I didn’t try it, but that is an area where people have been arguing for centuries, so I would take that review with a grain of salt. Crazy as it sounds… It’s a divisive issue.
On top of the food being delicious, the service being excellent, and the set up welcoming, everyone was really nice and informative. That goes a long way especially if you’re eating the food for the first time.

Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Clearly marked, Friendly and informative people

Cons: not cheap, but no place is!

Limited vegan options

We had the tofu rolls, tofu salad, vegan pad thai with tofu and vegan pho w tofu. Having travelled extensively and eaten at some stellar vegan locations, this restaurant was a disappointment. The tofu rolls were bland and the peanut sauce was bottled and had no peanut flavor. The tofu salad was the sole highlight with fresh flavors of lime and ginger. The pad thai was bland, had no tamarind, onion or lime notes. It consisted of plain noodles in a brown sauce with 6 small pieces of tofu on top. The vegan pho was the worst dish. It had an overbearing flavor of cinnamon, but I assume that was the chef’s heavy hand with the star anise. It was broth, noodles and slices of onion. Paid $3.00 extra per dish to put the tofu in the pad thai and the pho. Spent $53.00 for order at the counter food to eat inside. Skip this location.

Pros: Parking was easy

Cons: Expensive, Odd flavors, Tiny portions

Enjoyable options!

I enjoyed the orange tofu and vegan rice side. The staff knew what was Vegan and clearly have a mission to provide for these clients, as well as GF. A local family business to boot!

Great!

Cute place inside. Many vegan options clearly marked. I have been here several times. I appreciate the more healthy steamed tofu, steamed veggies and brown rice options. My only recommendation is it would be great to have an oil free rice noodle option and another steamed crispy vegetable option like maybe snow peas and red peppers or something fresh and crunchy. When I got a veggie option for a dish it was broccoli and cauliflower which is fine, but a second veg option would be great.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: It gets little expensive if you add veg and tofu

Love the vegan curry noodle soup! all of their food is flavorful and comforting!

I love the breading on the fried tofu. I think they could add another vegan protein option maybe?

3 Happy Vegans

We had pad Thai, orange fried tofu, veggie fried rice, & marinated jackfruit in brown sauce with veggies. Also mango Boba tea. It was very fast. Everything was delicious. The employees were very helpful & friendly. Highly recommend!

New generation adds vegan focus

We served Stiks takeout for six last night to rave reviews. Orange tofu, veggies in green curry, crispy vegan spring rolls, vegan pad Thai, cold tofu with ginger, and seaweed salad - all a hit. Stiks is now our new go-to for updated, vegan Asian cuisine. The dining room looks nice, so we'll eat at the restaurant itself soon.

Great Drink Options

There are a lot of drink options on the menu that can be made using coconut milk instead of dairy milk. I really liked my Thai tea. My daughter wanted boba, but all of their boba drinks are meant to have a dairy or coconut milk base, which she doesn't like. So, they made her a mango iced tea and added tapioca pearls to it instead and she absolutely loved it.

Nice Place With Great Food

The ladies that took our order were super helpful because we weren’t sure if jackfruit would go with spicy green curry. The jackfruit is also spicy so it went perfectly! The vegan pad Thai was also good, and the tofu wasn’t fried so it felt pretty healthy too.

Consistently excellent

I’ve been going to A Taste of Asia (now Stiks) for all the years I’ve been here and it’s been a consistent source of great vegan options. Best pad Thai ever. Great tofu spring rolls.

The remodel is fresh, fun, and too hip for me. Haha. Seriously, it’s easy and fast. Love it. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. Lots of young people hanging around.

Pros: Excellent vegan pad Thai, Fun atmosphere , Great vegan options
