Upscale and "Urban" in a Mid-west College Town - Edit
Stella is unique in Oxford! From the sunken bar & elegant lounge to the stained glass window and art work on the walls, it feels a little like NYC or Chicago. The chef's menu includes (vegan) edamame salad, (vegetarian) crispy filled dumplings, and the dessert tray always includes vegan options. The restaurant uses local produce from area farmers and carefully sources its seafood. Servers are professional and helpful (they always know what is vegan/vegetarian and what can be modified to be vegan, etc.)Food is made from scratch and basics (like bread & "butter") are vegan and delicious! Portions are not large but rich flavor makes them very satisfying! I highly recommend Stella 12 Beech.
