Yummy pizza - Edit
I thought the pizza was good. I've personally had better vegan pizza but it was really yummy. Lots of different flavors. I also tried the garlic knots which were good but the marinara sauce could have been a bit more flavorful.

Awesome! - Edit
Nice to have an all vegan spot downtown. I got the plate and I always love May Wah wings! They had a mustard sauce on special that day and it was super yum!

Best pizza in Rochester - Edit
I always forget to review the home town places, been here alot and it always impresses. The flavor is always on point and the options are plentiful. This trip i got wings, a meatball sub, and two specialty pizza which were all amazing. Had just about everything in the menu and I have nothing negative to say about it. The owners and workers are very friendly, the place has a nice atmosphere, and its clean. The only negative is the parking sucks but you can still find it usually.

The wings/drumsticks are outstanding! - Edit
Their wings/drumsticks were my favorite, and everything I tried was delicious. I also had pizza and garlic knots. If I had it to do over again I would definitely balance out one of those more decadent items with a salad because the other food has quite a bit of oil in it. It's a very friendly place, there's a ton of space in the restaurant, the service was fast, and the Sasquatch decor is quite fun!

Excellent crust - Edit
Maybe this is a New York thing but I’d call the service slow and they were not busy. The pizza crust however is fantastic and I had the best panini I’ve had since going vegan 2 years ago. No beer that I saw- only water and pop.

Bada bing! 🍕 - Edit
We got a “Satriales” pizza (a pie with a bunch of vegan meats🍕) plus a “garbage plate” (evidently a Rochester specialty, but all vegan). This is not health food, but it did taste good and was filling. This place is all vegan, with tons of choices.

Good food, very long waits - Edit
It’s worth saying, that we did not get pizza (and they are a pizza joint). We came for the plates and garlic knots. They did not have enough fries to make the three plates we wanted so we had to substitute for a sandwich. The garlic knots were freaking amazing! We got wings and they were not my favorite. They’re soy based not seitan, and the texture is interesting and the “skin” is a bit too thick. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken sandwich since I thought it was a little too sweet. My husband and very non vegan friend very much approved of the plates though.
Read moreI will say, most of my negatives are for service. We tried to go on Friday and they were randomly closed, nothing on their website, social media or phone lines. When we did go the next day we had to wait an hour for our food. We were placing our order and the woman took a phone order in full interrupting the middle of our order (thus going in front of us???), and lastly, it was hot so one of the workers propped the door open by putting a rock in the TOP of the door hinge which scared the [censored] out of me as my toddler walked towards the door which was partially ajar and she wanted to push.
I think it would be best to order on the phone. I was just visiting so I won’t be coming again, but if I lived here I would probably give it another shot, though I was not very impressed by the service and very apologetic to my non veg friend who I dragged to a veg restaurant.
Pros: Portions, Garlic knots , Authentic vegan plate
Cons: Wait time , Service , Burgers were burnt on bottom

Fantastic variety and quality - Edit
I ordered 6 pizzas for a family gathering. Great crust and the toppings are so interesting. The nonvegans liked it and it was such a huge treat for me to have a big variety of more than veggies. I was surprised how much I liked the Madonn - the ricotta was put on beautifully and the whole things was so tasty. The Greek pizza was great too, and also the a la carte veggie ones I ordered. My husband says the pepperoni is the best he's had - my husband's and son's only complaint was there was too much of it! I ordered too many pizzas so people could choose, and the leftovers were so great reheated. This is the best pizza I've had in a long time.
Read moreThe only con for me is the location is awkward to pick up and they don't have delivery in the evening so we'd be going downtown at rush hour. However my family picked up and they didn't mention a problem. We were told "If you would like to pick up the order you are welcome to park short term on Aqueduct St or there are metered spaces on Main St in front of the First Federal Plaza."
Pros: Crust, Variety, Delicious!
Cons: Location

Because it is “junk” food I don’t go regularly but when I do, I’m never disappointed! Pizza, wings, garlic knots, and even chikn salad! Try it! Even my non plant based/vegan family enjoy.

All-veg Pizza Place! - Edit
Pizza was made quick, service was friendly, and the pizza was delicious. Paid $28 for a large pizza with a lot of toppings - not a crazy price compared to vegan pizza at other places.

Best vegan pizza! - Edit
I have been to Squatcho's a few times now, and they do not disappoint! Everything is always amazing and affordable. They have pizza, subs, salads, and a few other goodies like garlic knots, cookies, shakes etc. They offer several vegan cheese and vegan meat options, as well as traditional veggie pizza toppings. It's awesome having the experience of going into a pizza shop and being able to order anything! Even their plain cheese slice was great which in my opinion is hard to pull off for vegan pizza, I was very pleased! Their specialty pizzas are of course wonderful! My non-vegan partner loves going here as well, and he especially loves the garlic knots. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is fun! I highly recommend checking out Squatcho's if you're in the Rochester area!!

If you love great food, it's a must try! Friendly people. - Edit
The place was amazing, all of it! We got pepperoni pizza (smaller size), buffalo "chicken" pizza (larger size wow!), GF garbage plate (I'm in love, a return to my young adult days), buffalo "chicken" salad, wings and the 5 garlic knots, ooh those knots. Took the whole family while in town visiting. It will be our go-to in the future. DON'T let prices deter you, the portions are worth it. We had 6 pp and took home 1/2 the food above. Thanks, Squatcho team! #Veganuary

Classic Pizza Joint - Edit
Such a fan!! Really enjoyed the Chicken Parm, and it was huge with great soft bread. Delicious. The cheese pizza is probably the closest I've ever had to a NY dollar pizza... like in the best possible way. It's the exact pizza you want from a classic pizza joint. The garlic knots are amazing too. Will be returning for sure! What an amazing addition to Rochester! #Veganuary

Best garlic knots ever! - Edit
I could eat those garlic knots every single day! Their wings are also delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the vegan cheese used on the pizza, it melts into a bit of a soupy mess, but otherwise the pizza was amazing as well.

Great Pizza and Wings - Edit
We had one of their pizzas and an order of their bbq wings. Both were delicious. The crust was chewy. The flavors were on point. The ricotta they used/made was really good. The wings could have been made without the "bone" (wooden dowel), but that is just a minor personal preference. If I am back in the area again, I will be sure to eat here again.
