Health food store and cafe with vegan options

This is a health food store stocking a wide range of vegan items, like pastas, pulses, sauces, protein powders, teas, spices, body care and some fresh produce etc. They also host health related events.

The store has a cafe with seating (could probably seat 15 people) with quite a few vegan items like roti rolls, biryani, tempeh burger, bean chili, salads, desserts etc.

I tried the vegan baked Mac and cheese square which is served with a side salad. It was HKd60 which I find very reasonable. It was filling and taste of square was good but perhaps a little soft and would be better if more moist. I found the salad (sprouted mung beans and broccoli) to be a bitter and when they I asked for feedback I shared this comment on the salad. Would go back to try something else if in the area.

I’ve always found the staff very friendly.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly service

Spicebox Organics - Caine Rd, Hong Kong

Edit - rating downgraded. I went today. They tried to interest me in frozen chicken.

They sell some interesting stuff here. There's some things I'd much prefer they removed, e.g. fish oil, non vego ice cream.

Updated from previous review on 2016-08-25

Cons: No fish oil would be better, Removing the non vego ice cream would also help, Stocks animal flesh
