Hidden Gem in a Sea of Surf and Turf

Happened across in the food court of the Rivercenter Mall. Clearly marked vegan gumbo comes with Cajun rice which the employee (possibly owner?) confirmed was vegan. She also said she was very proud of it when I mentioned that it looked very good. Great option to have for a quick bite on the Riverwalk.

Good vegan gumbo in a vegan desert

The gumbo was tasty, mildly spicy, and inexpensive!

Pros: Tasty, Low price

Cons: Could offer a vegan protein (tempeh, tofu, etc)
