Good bowl, not so good drinks - Edit
The Bowls were tasty and huge! Unfortunately the drinks weren't good at all. The coconutmilk tasted sour.

Sour milk- it was probably expired! Did you send it back? I hope they didn’t continue to serve it to others.

No, i didn't 😬 sounds weird but it didn't taste sour like it was expired. More like it was just a bad brand. I hadn't any problems with my stomach after that, so i think it was okay..?

Interesting 🧐 that is strange. Maybe the brand used too much citric acid as a preservative. I’m glad you didn’t have any stomach issues after. What a relief 😅

Really nice! A little pricey - Edit
Food was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed the smoothie bowl! The only pointer I have is the price - it is quite expensive.

Chill meal - Edit
Chill spot for a meal, outdoor seating and many vegan options. Staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. The nourishing bowl was excellent.

Tasty fermented juice! - Edit
Had a fermented lime juice which was really nice and refreshing. Also saw nice sounding vegan food and drink options on the menu, didn’t take them though as I was not hungry when there.

Up and coming - Edit
I’m not sure how new this place is but I was surprised it wasn’t already listed on HappyCow. Stumbled across it after getting lunch at Om Garden Cafe just opposite, a place with a similar, cosy garden vibe but fewer vegan options. Came back for lunch here the following day and can confirm that it definitely rivals its popular neighbour.
Read moreTo get the negatives out the way, the ”homemade sourdough toast” was stodgy, doughy and very chewy, none of which are adjectives you want to describe toast. Despite the bread’s questionable consistency, however, the sandwiches themselves were really tasty. I particularly liked the ”meaty mushroom” panini with avocado and caramelised onions.
My partner LOVED the Soulful Bowl, a salad bowl loaded with avocado, quinoa, sesame dressing, loads of fresh veggies and those delicious meaty mushrooms. He also said they did good coffee—they do have a proper espresso machine. It’s a shame they charge extra for plant milk though.
I predict this place will do very well on HappyCow and in general. It has a central location, fresh and tasty food, reasonable prices and that sought-after chill, hippie vibe that is very characteristic of Pai.
Pros: Pretty garden 🪴, Good value 💸, Soulful Bowl 🥑
Cons: Serves dairy and eggs 🐣, Stodgy bread 🍞
