Good coffee, some vegan options - Edit
Made a quick search to look for a vegan friendly place near work and Soma popped up. Many of my coworkers come here for the coffee, particularly for their happy hour for $2.50 coffees in the afternoon. I ordered the Powerkraut, two avocado toasts with sauerkraut, kimchi, chilli and decorated with edible flowers. The meal looked great and filled me up for a big day at work. I checked with the server that the kimchi was vegan, and she was kind enough to clarify with their cooks. Had a soy cap on the side and it was a good breakfast. :)

Very good coffee meets a small but appreciated vegan collection - Edit
Just to make it clear, guys: You do not go to Soma for vegan food. It doesn't have a lot. What it HAS is excellent, don't get me wrong, but it's limited.
Read moreWhat you go there for is the coffee. They won best café in 2011 and are consistently brilliant. Staff are friendly and cordial, the vegan muffins are great, and the coffee is to die for.
Again, gang. DO go here. Just know why.
And why is the coffee.
Because the coffee is really good.
Pros: Coffee., Vegan muffins are pretty rad.
Cons: Pricey.

vegan options done brilliantly - Edit
I love coming here for their vegan muffins as a breakfast treat. They make them fresh daily (I think they come out of the oven around 8am). There's a blueberry-dark chocolate or raspberry-almond. They do a very good soy coffee too. Relative to the menu length there are quite a few vegan options in general. I've tried the kale "caesar" salad. I can't say whether it approximates the original but it was delicious.

Cons: loud (concrete floors), not very comfy seating (wooden benches and chairs), I think no longer open on weekends

Great for vegans - Edit
While there isn't a huge range of options for vegans the options that are there are absolutely delicious! Would recommend all of the vegan options and the coffee is great too.
