Great options - Edit
Had vegan mushroom ”escargot” with focaccia and pulled oats gochujang tacos. The first was okay (not a fan of artificial-tasting vegan cheese) but a nice change. The focaccia was nice. The tacos were delicious! Relaxed atmosphere - and open on Sunday evenings, too.

Good food - Edit
Multiple vegan options which are clearly marked to the menu. Ordered bao buns, because those had jackfruit which I have never tasted before. It was good.

??? - Edit
I went here along with my partner and our respective families this spring. Most of the carnists were satisfied with their meal but the vegan options were all in all abhorrent.
Read moreMy partner ordered a mushroom appetizer which came with the most meagre amount of focaccia and was not flavorful, I ordered cauliflower wings which, while the best part of the meal, you can get equally good from the freezer section of the grocery store.
For the main course they had chickpea curry with like a deciliter of chickpeas in red curry sauce with no vegetables and a fairly big bowl of extremely salty rice. The price was exorbitant for a meal made of rice and chickpeas, two of the cheapest ingredients there are. We had made more and much better a few nights prior with store brand curry paste, oat cream and frozen vegetables with minimal effort. I had mushroom risotto with undercooked, dry rice that was totally unseasoned. Once again i have made better with only mushrooms, rice, a broth cube and pepper when I was too cheap in school to buy anything else. It would have been disappointing at best but paying 16e for something i have made better for under a euro is a bit senseless.
I don't know if they were having an off day when we visited or if the quality has declined since the other posters have been, but I know my partner and I will avoid this place from now on.
Pros: You won't starve to death i guess
Cons: Extremely poor value, Poorly cooked and seasoned food

Tasty food and great seitan - Edit
My favorite veg friendly place in Jyväskylä. Cool restaurant, great vegan options and a very solid 5/5 seitan. Vegan desserts often available.

Defenitely recommend this place - Edit
Delicious vegan meals, five different asian-based meals ("chicken" teriyaki, noodles) and one vegan burger. Very cosy. I'd defenitely recommend anyone to check out this place.

Very good seitan burger, perhaps one of the best! - Edit
I've been eating vegan seitan burger at Sohwi for a few years now and it is delicious! Order fries as well if you want them (goes well with the burger! : ) Varying list changing with seasons including always some vegetarian / vegan dishes.
Read moreThey currently have different vegetarian and vegan options on the menu or some dishes can be made as either! They are reviewing their menu and I heard that they are going to make every vegetarian dish completely vegan in the future! I will suggest an update for the restaurant info when they make the changes!
Still serving meat as well.
Pros: delicious food, multiple options for vegans as well, they are adding more plant based food
Cons: no plant based milk for (dessert) coffee, much more meat options than vegs
