Very few vegan options

The staff went out of their way to create vegan options for me. Ordered the Awesome avocado Jack burger with no cheese. Waitress kindly brought the bun plated separate since it is made with milk as one of the ingredients. A salad was the only other choice, but it was a decent salad. Also had steamed broccoli with no butter, but they brought me lemon to squeeze over it.

Pros: Staff was very accommodating

Cons: Very few options for plant based eaters , Few choices for no or low oil vegans

Staff has since told me this burger continues feta cheese inside it, so it cannot be made vegan.

Not Worth it for a Vegan...

There is a option for a plant based burger if you remove the cheese from it. However, I would pass on this place if you are vegan. Just not enough options.

Good place for beer

We stopped in to grab beer. I swear their menu said they had a house made vegan burger with avocado on it. Either way, we enjoyed the beer and it was nice to have the option to eat something if we wanted to.

Pros: Good beer, great atmosphere and social distancing

Cons: Not a lot of food options

Helpful staff, make sure to ask questions!

Staff is kind & helpful. Very few vegan options. Plant based burger on the menu is the boca burger I believe. Skip cheese. No vegan bun option. Ask for lettuce wrap or just eat without bun. Salad, tater tots, french fries.

Pros: Atmosphere is always cozy & nice, Staff is helpful

Had the portobello salad. It was a big filling salad with plenty of toppings.

Didn’t have to struggle finding something to eat on the menu.

Pros: They no longer have crappy Boca burger, They have Sweet Earth Awesome Burger

Portobello Salad

I had the portobello salad, and just asked to skip the cheese. Also a side of broccoli, and the waitress was clever enough to skip that cheese as well.
The food tasted pretty good.

The also have the soy burger on the menu, and they were very open to customize any entree.
You can also order a pizza without cheese.

Pros: A few options to customize meals to make it vegan, Staff was open minded about customizing , My husband ate meat while I had a vegan dish

Ok for vegetarians only

They have a veggie Philly and a Boca burger. Hot pretzel appetizer and fried mushrooms. Veggie pizza but no vegan cheese. The items don't veganize well. If vegan, your best bet is to veganize one of the salads.

Pretty good

Waitress was friendly and helpful. She had no problem getting the answers to my questions about the fried foods on the menu. I was really looking forward to getting the fried pickles but I'm glad I asked about them before ordering because the breading has buttermilk in it. All the fried items on the menu had either egg or buttermilk in them. So, I stuck to the boca burger and added the grilled mushrooms. It was pretty good. The best part was the Helles Ale that is brewed there. They do have a gluten free menu that has a build-your-own pizza on it that is probably vegan if you get it without cheese. My Tip: Check the website for the menu before going in. They are a micro brewery so the beer was the best part of the meal. Over all it was a decent place to eat in a pinch or if you like microbreweries, but I wouldn't make a big deal out of eating there.

Pros: Good Beer, friendly staff

Cons: few VN options

Skip this one...

The veggie burger is Boca. We also had the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were served with small pieces of fried chicken in the bottom of the basket. Go to Mellow Mushroom if vegan, and for veggies there are other places with veggie burgers to check out. Other cons: we sat for 10 minutes before having to flag down someone to serve us (they were busy- but 10 min is a bit much), they served wine in a glass with a large chip out of the stem and overall the food was just not great.

Pros: Vegan burger

Cons: Served vegan food with real chicken :(

Unexpected

My fiancé and I weren't expecting there to be many options for us in Gatlinburg (one restaurant's idea of a vegetarian entree was literally grilled veggies topped with cheese...), so we were pleasantly surprised to find a place that offered multiple veg-friendly dishes. The vegan burger and mushroom melt we ordered were simple but very filling, and we liked that there was no "surprise bacon" in our side dishes of potato salad and mac & cheese. The house-brewed beers were pretty tasty, too.

Pros: HUGE portions, Multiple veg*n options, Attentive staff

Cons: Live music was a little too loud
