Delicious vegan breakfast wrap - Edit
Ordered: Vegan Breakfast Wrap
Read moreToasted enough to give variation in the tortilla texture, the mushrooms in the wrap gave it a nice subtle umami flavor, the garbanzos beans with tahini gave it a nice creaminess plus avocado. There were a couple pickled cornichons on the side for a variety in texture and flavor. They gave us Cholula at the table, my favorite breakfast hot sauce. Nice shaded outdoor seating. Would come back when in the area, had non vegan options for the others with me.

Really delicious vegan options - Edit
They do an awesome vegan burger here. It says harissa mayo and brioche bun but they've told me that they're both vegan. Really delicious, one of my fave burgers I've had. Their fries are also pretty good. Shared the garden salad and it was also fantastic (lovely lemon herb dressing). Their vegan scones have also been quite nice.

Cute vibe and good-tasting - Edit
For a non vegan place, this place does a pretty good job with vegan options. It’s cute and has a pretty patio. I was pleasantly surprised. There are about three as-is entrees for vegans with a few vegan baked goods too. I got the chickpea, kale, and mushroom burrito and it was pretty tasty!

Good vegetarian breakfast - Edit
Egg and cheese bagel was simple, but good. The pastries were good too. We would be happy to go back.

Amazing Vegan Options in Hip Environs - Edit
I've been going going to their other location, Cafe Smitten, for a few years now and thought I'd check out their newer location. It's beautiful and hip, just like the original location. This location is larger with indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer craft beer on tap and wine. The staff is super friendly and there are many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. I love the vegan burrito, greek salad, tomato soup vegan portobello sandwich.
Read moreThe dishes are skillfully prepared, fresh, delicious and have just the right flavors. This is a foodie driven enterprise and it shows. The owners have taken tremendous care and pride in creating a welcoming and memorable experience that will want you coming back for more. I will love visiting here anytime I'm in Bakersfield. I wish I could give them five stars!
Pros: Fresh and Unique, Reasonably Priced, Beautiful Interior with Outdoor Patio Seating
