Such rich flavors

Sisah Modupe is such a kind spirit and you can tell she puts love into her food. Her sprouted sunflower seed un-tuna was the best "tuna" I've ever had! She does amazing things with seasonings and her flavors are so rich and bold. Absolutely delicious!

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly staff

Cons: No regular location

Delicious Spiced Raw Food

I had read about this place on HappyCow and came here for lunch, June 2012. Here's my Lil Eden review.

It's location on Market Street, just at the south end of the pedestrian walking area. There is a free parking lot right next to the restaurant. The restaurant, as of this day, still shows signage for the former establishment, "Rosalie Caribbean" food. The owner and chef, Sistah Modupe, told us that she's been in this space since Nov/Dec 2011.

The inside is casual, basic, and relaxed. There is not much service to expect - just walk in and sit down, and Sistah Modupe will greet you, and later come back from the kitchen with her day's mixed plate, $10/each. You can also get fresh juice for $7. Around the restaurant you will also see some picked fresh citrus fruit, limes and tangerine, for sale.

My mixed raw food plate was colorful and delicious, served with a small packet of toasted seaweed (not raw). There was a carrot-based tuna like dish, a nut-based dish, a creamy broccoli dish (with veganaise), a chopped kale and purple cabbage dish, and a marinated baby kale greens dish. All the flavors were good and well-seasoned and slightly more spicy than other raw restaurant foods. I like spicy so I did not mind.

Would definitely like to return the next time I'm in the Inglewood area.

Pros: healthy, clean, tasty

Cons: slow wait
