I don’t know why the food I got were bad. The rice was so sticky and not fresh for the sushi burrito. Everything is oily. Not good for my stomach.

Mushroom tamales were great. I enjoyed them immensely and because I was in no rush, I didn't mind the wait while other take away orders got filled before mine, however I was given a free drink as a show of thanks.

These guys make practically everything from scratch. Very grassroots and friendly. I had the Loaded Mac, which is a macaroni w/vegan cheese plate, that includes their breaded crispy organic oyster mushrooms on top. Also a side of light crispy potatoes. The meal was very filling, enough to share with two. Super rich and creamy with the melted cheese. Plus their strawberry lemonade is very rich.
Read moreThe place is hard to see from the street, and it is literally a hole in the wall, as of early October 2022. You knock on a sliding window and it opens up and you order there. The workers there told me there were literally in the process of expanding to the retail space next to them and would be adding the outdoor seating that goes with it - and once they completed their move, they hope to expand their hours a bit more into the early evening.
I was happy that the take out containers were paper, not plastic.

It’s such a LA experience, basically a brick and mortar food truck - it’s a literal hole in the wall that you walk up to and order - and it’s as delicious as a place like that must be to have a line down the street some days. There’s only 1 plastic table on the sidewalk, so you may have to take your food to go or eat standing next to your car - will you care? Nope! The food is awesome, so you won’t mind at all. Just grab some napkins bc it can get messy! Try the Sushi Burrito Cali Style, it’s so good (definitely don’t forget the napkins with this one!)

Ordered through a delivery app and everything was smooth. Sushi burrito krispy was delicious (and they provided extra sauce on the side = big fan). My non-vegan (picky) friend ordered the Alkaline Salad and was in love with it. Said she’ll definitely order from there again.

If you’re considering ordering from this place do it via phone call or text message because the online menu does not provide or menu items. I had the 2nah wrap and mango juice and they were both very fresh and tasty! Looking forward to trying the sushi burrito next time..

Split a Fried Shikken Sandwich - Classic style, and Mac and Cheese. The mac was sooo good, maybe a bit salty for some but I didn't mind at all. Creamy and tasty, but didn't leave me feeling bloated or oily.

Excited to try more of their menu. I love me some comfort foods but even some other vegan places leave me feeling overly full or heavy. Not here, this grub scratches that junk food itch without that junk food hangover.
