The cafe itself really is great, with a good atmosphere and a beautiful roof terrace!
The vegan food on the menu was not labeled. When I asked if the mushroom sandwich is vegan he said 'of course' but didn't really make the impression that he knew what vegan is. I'm pretty sure that the sauce on the salad that came with the sandwich was made with yogurt, it didn't taste like tahini. So make sure to say what you can/can't eat. Also, the sandwich wasn't anything I'd come back for.
Come for the atmosphere and the view from the terrace, but not for the food.😉
One of the coolest cafes in the Bethlehem area and a short walk or taxi ride from manger square, Singer Cafe has an eclectic mix of Palestinians and Internationals, great style and good menu.
The (mostly vegetarian) menu has some labelled vegan options as well as plenty of dishes that happen to be vegan or are easy to make vegan. They serve soy milk and have good coffee and juices. The local beers are also great!
Can be a little tricky to find - it's located just down the road from Ararat Hotel in Beit Sahour off the street opposite the Latin Church.
