Only vegan muffin available - Edit
Fairly limited menu in terms of vegan options. They have great breads here, but wanted to try their vegan pastries, especially their highly rated vegan croissants. Unfortunately, the only vegan pastry they had was a Banana Brown Sugar Walnut Muffin. That said, it was very good — moist, not too sweet.

Only had a vegan muffin - Edit
It seems there haven’t been any recent reviews. They only had a brown sugar banana muffin. I didn’t get it because I wanted to try a croissant. They also have one vegan food option on their menu—smashed avocado toast.

Quality Meets Optionality - Edit
A bit pricey, but worth it for those vegan chocolate croissants 🤩. I was sad to give up pastries when I went vegan, and Simple Loaf dramatically softens the blow with their numerous vegan goodies.

Great bakery in Park Slope - Edit
This friendly bakery and cafe sells several vegan pastries, including croissants and muffins, but either they sell out quickly or don’t have a vegan option every day. Either way, it’s worth a trip to try for a tasty treat. All the breads are vegan, and there are usually one or two vegan items on the menu.

Croissants!! - Edit
They've really perfected the vegan croissant--plain and chocolate--and have a comfortable seating area. There's also J.J.Byrne Park close by, with plenty of benches. But they don't get four or five stars because they've often run out.

Cons: Expensive, Vegan croissants run out early

Nice chocolate croissant, not too many vegan options - Edit
Love that they have a few vegan options. The chocolate croissant I got was great😄I was hoping there would be more, but happy to have it in the neighborhood.

Great vegan croissants! - Edit
This isn’t a full vegan place by any means, but the vegan croissants (plain and chocolate) and vegan pecan cinnamon roll are some of the best I’ve ever had. They sell out early, and selections are best on the weekend. They also have good vegan monkey bread and vegan banana walnut muffins. I wish they were all vegan, but they definitely deserve huge credit for the vegan pastries they have. Since they already sell out quickly, I’m a bit reluctant to post this, haha, but I’m happy to help other vegans find great food.
