Large Vegan Pizzas - Edit
My local friends highly recommended Two Boots for their vegan pizzas - citing the stretchy cheese that didn't taste as artificial (even though it's still Daiya cheese), but I knew I had to try for myself.
Read moreWe placed an online order which was easy-peasy. We went with a large Vegan Night Tripper ($31), which was a pesto based pizza with onions and sun-dried tomatoes. We also ordered a small House Salad ($7) with balsamic being the only vegan friendly dressing.
Pizza was fantastic! Loved the crust (even though it wasn't the classic thin New York crust) and the combination of vegan cheese and pesto was junky perfection.
Note: the large here is seriously a large. My partner and I wish we had just gotten a Medium but we ended up having half the pizza the next day on our way to JFK.
We also ordered Garlic Knots (3 for $3) but sadly these weren't vegan. To be fair, they weren't marked as such online, but I was really hoping they'd be given they usually are at other pizza joints. Oh well!

Partake in Pizza Here - Edit
My standard two slices left both my stomach and soul satiated. Two Boots has that classic slice shop vibe, and it was nice to fully partake with a few different options available. I’m not the biggest fan of vegan cheese, though, and would love to see a cheese-less slice in the rotation.

Converted me to New York-style pizza - Edit
I’m training for a marathon and whenever I’m in training mode, my carbo-load fuel of choice is pizza (and potato chips, but that’s another story). I just moved to NYC and never thought much about New York-style pizza. =X But now that I’m here, I am obsessed! On average, I buy a large pizza every week and pretty much ravage my way through it.
Read moreI’m eating my way through Two Boots vegan menu. I’m currently stuck on the Super Vegan. I’m a creature of habit. When I find something I like, I tend to go back to it at the expense of others. But that shiitake mushroom with broccoli and red onions on basil pesto is *chef’s kiss*.
I promise I’ll eventually get to the other options. I love that there are so many vegan pies to choose from! Thank you Two Boots for making a convert out of me.

Vegan Big Maybelle Pizza - Edit
I ordered from Two Boots Pizza for delivery. The Vegan Big Maybelle Pizza has vegan chicken, vegan pepperoni, fresh garlic, vegan ricotta, and Daiya non-dairy cheese. I also requested the pizza be made gluten free. The pizza could have more toppings, but overall was quite delicious! I would definitely order again when I’m craving pizza.

Love the support - Edit
Sometimes I just crave a slice, since it was my go to from my vegetarian days. Although admittedly no vegan slice I've had compares to the best cheese slices I previously had (why lie to myself), these folks do a pretty good job so I can get my fix. More than that though, I appreciate the support – they have vegan pamphlets and signs in the store, which is awesome.

Good pizza - Edit
They have a lot of vegan options. I’m not a big fan of daiya cheese, but I took the pizza without cheese and added vegan ricotta and that did the trick

Good slice shop - Edit
Good slice shop. Unfortunately you have to order a full pie if you want something gluten-free. They have a few different vegan pizzas on hand at all times and many more to order.

Great Pizza at Omni Pizzeria - Edit
I came here with Omni friends and had a great experience. I got two of their vegan pizzas- both delicious. There’s live music in the evenings which was nice, beer and wine on tap. All around great place with great pizza. I would give it 5 stars, but Happy Cow only reserves that for all vegan restaurants

HORRIBLE PLACE FOR VEGANS - Edit
What good is a place with "vegan options" if they keep running out of pizza and then when you order, they look at you like you're asking for something foreign when you ask for the vegan pizza. They ADVERTISE 7 DIFFERENT TYPES OF PIZZA! The guy there (Andy), at the LES location, wanted to make a 14 dollar personal pie. I came there for a slice of pizza, not a pie that is 3 to 4 times that. And then when I tried to pay, they wouldn't take master card. It's 1 am and everything else is closed. They close at 2am He knew of nothing else that was open. Not only was this terrible customer service but false advertisement. This is not the only location. Where this has happened.
