Fav of Chiang Rai - Edit
Restaurant belongs with the Pan Kled villa. It has nice wooden interior. I ate here three times and had the smoothiebowl and kimchi soup. I highly recommend getting the kimchi soup. It was so good!😍 They have a whole vegan menu with enough options.

Amazing selection of vegan options - Edit
The food is amazing! I haven’t tried anything there I didn’t like. I came there once and kept returning whenever I had an opportunity. Pan Kled burger, pineapple rice, tempeh bowl are delicious, the desserts are also worth trying.

Amazing atmosphere and delicious food - Edit
Great atmosphere in a eco resort off the beaten path. If this place was closer to the main town it would be jumping. Definitely stop here on your trip to Chiang Rai

Excellent - Edit
Loads of vegan options, and they definitely what the restaurant favours. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, interesting, with everything well thought out. The setting is great too, plus a very friendly cat.

Delicious vegan food - Edit
We stayed at Pan Kled three nights and ate at Shann Cafe several times, we loved the food, freshly made, tasty and not expensive. They have a clearly labelled vegan menu but they serve non vegan food as well. Great service and lovely staff.

Delicious - Edit
So glad we decided to visit as it’s a bit out of the way and we were worried about the review where they’d been accidentally served non vegan food. The food was really really good and included some harder to find foods. They even have vegan desserts. The smoothie was incredible and like a dessert too. The service was really good and the surroundings are beautiful. I imagine it would be amazing to stay here #Veganuary

Non-vegan food served off the vegan menu - Edit
This was the closest restaurant to where I was staying that had a vegan menu, so I came here six times during my two weeks in Chiang Rai.
Read moreThe first five times were lovely. I love the decor of the resort, and the food was all really good and the staff were kind.
It has a three-page 'Vegan menu', so there are a lot of vegan choices.
It's an open-air place, with a lot of water features in the resort, so it's not the best place to be during peak mosquito hours, but other than that I couldn't fault it.
The sixth time I came here, on my penultimate day in Chiang Rai, I ordered the pineapple fried rice off the vegan menu. I took a couple of mouthfuls before realising that it had been made with egg mixed into it.
The restaurant staff double as check-in staff. On this one occasion, the girl on the desk was busy checking multiple people in. Couple that with me being on my lunch break from work and needing to get back, I didn't bother complaining. I just paid and left, so I don't know how they would have handled it had I told them.
I hate to give this place one-star, because apart from this incident, I would have given it a top review. But ordering from the vegan menu, only to be served a non-vegan dish really left a horrible taste in the mouth. Literally. In my mind, selling non-vegan food as vegan is the worst thing a restaurant can do, especially in the context of this app.

Good find. - Edit
Ordered a Tofu Scramble, Pineapple Fried Rice....Tofu Scramble had a little too much turmeric, but it was tasty nevertheless.
Read morePineapple fried rice was very good. Asked for less oil and they did so, the Thai put WAYYYY too much oil in their food.
Nice meal:)
Pros: A separate Vegan menu!, With dessert options haha

I was surprised to randomly find this hidden gem! They have an entire vegan menu with tons of options and the food is delicious! We tried the Korean fried cauliflower, the khao soi and the peach tart. Everything was fantastic
