Lovely vegan munch - Edit
Such a cute little veggie/vegan café with friendly staff and loads of yummy vegan treats, including hotdogs, toasties, cake, afternoon tea, milkshakes... I absolutely love the vegan cheese toasties, loads of flavour and filling and good portion sizes. Biscoff milkshake is 10/10 too. Totally recommend

At last a veggie / vegan restaurant in South Shields. We visited on the last day before lockdown and I’m so glad we found it .
Read moreThe menu I would say is around 70% vegan with the rest of the menu vegetarian which is ethically sourced from Fair Share.
The food is all home made and tasted so fresh . The vegan pie was delicious and homemade chips with the skins on too .
Sea change also provide jobs to people with autism which is wonderful and the staff are so well trained and polite .
I could write so much about this wonderful place. Hopefully lockdown will not close down places like this as they are a haven to me and many of my friends.

I already had such a great feeling about this place even before visiting. This was instantly justified as soon as we arrived. Although you could safely dine in, takeaway was a more convenient option today. From the specials menu we picked the sweet potato and coconut curry and a mixed vegetable stir fry with rice. Whilst waiting for the order on the outdoor seating we had a coffee and I had the French onion soup rather than precariously taking it back home in the car. Hugely enjoyable it was too. The main courses were excellent, full of flavour and homemade freshness. No idea how a chocolate brownie and a cheese scone (both vegan) also managed to sneak in on the act too. Once the days of COVID are behind us this is somewhere I really would like to go back to for an evening of bistro style dining in a most pleasantly decorated and homely interior setting.

We were quite often there for brekkie. They have lovely non- cheese toast and apple pie! Lovely crumbles... and vegan breakfasts!

Fantastic! Service was really friendly, the place has a great ethos, and the food was tremendous. We had the burger, greek style kebab and a tomato & pepper cheesa and all three dishes were 10/10! Nice vegan fruit smoothie to wash it down as well. Can't wait to come back!
