Potentially delicious, but vegans should be careful

My first time visiting Savoire was a positive experience. The skyway of downtown Minneapolis has hit a slump in the past few years and it induces a smile to see a new business open, especially one not peddling fast food. The staff were kind & brought the sort of mood lift that's always useful in a sometimes chaotic city environment. The noodle bowl was flavorful, not anything extraordinary, but definitely a tasty meal to accompany watching the crowds walk by. The second visit inspired me to write this as a heads up for fellow vegans. I went for pho (they do not have vegan pho) and ended up ordering a tofu banh mi. I specified that I would like it vegan. A few blocks away when I started eating it, a few bites in something didn't seem right. It's hard to tell these days, but I suspected it was chicken. I returned it and it was chicken (I'm sure people here understand how I felt). They told me they heard I wanted it vegan but thought I asked for chicken....so.....I think this is just a place where veganism is a learning process. They made another and when I took a bite I had a mouth full of mayo. So, the person I gave it to outside might have enjoyed it. Just a heads up for fellow vegans, if you go here be on top of what you want. (PS Come Pho Soup, a few blocks nearby, has vegan pho and vegan banh mi that are labeled as vegan)

Cons: Difficulty With Making Things Vegan , Served Chicken , Lack of a vegan pho
