Good salad - Edit
This restaurant as a little bit away from the main action in the small town on Calle 10.
Read moreWe had a salad de Jardin and some bread with hummus, which both were tasty and formed a nice combination.
Nice courtyard with cobbled stoned and beautiful flowers.

Better options exist - Edit
The courtyard is very beautiful. The food was a bit underwhelming though, particularly for the price; better to go to Mercado Municipal. I had vegan pasta with vegetables which was pretty basic and in a very watery and oily sauce. My partner had rice and beans, not particularly imaginative and overpriced. Staff was not particularly welcoming

Good food that's a little posh - Edit
This restaurant is a friendly place frequented by foreign tourists. There is a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes which are cooked and presented well. Drinks are also good -- I had the best cocktail in Colombia. We came here twice and the second time there was a staff member who was very helpful and spoke very good English. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice but expensive! - Edit
After searching for a while I found this restaurant.
Read moreFor Vegans it might be a good option if you don't just want to eat rice with frijol and salad.
But I must say that 20.000 cop min. for a dish not the cheapest is!
Pros: Not as boring as aroz con frijoles. , Organic
Cons: Expensive min. 20.000 cop for a dish.

nice Restaurant - Edit
Nice restaurant with organic food store. They serve traditional food. I had a patacones soup with avocado, which was super tasty. Price was okay. Staff was friendly but shy.

yay - Edit
we were so happy to find this place in villa de Leyva. Boyaca is the land of cheese in Colombia--- good vegan options are hard, if not impossible to come by. This was one of the priciest meals we had in Colombia (though it was still incredibly inexpensive compared to the states). The portions were HUGE. The service was good. We were the only ones in the restaurant, but I assume that's because we showed up at 530 on Tuesday, just following a big holiday weekend. So much of the food was organic and vegan options were clearly marked. This is actually my first review leaving on happy cow (though I use it regularly)-- but I thought it was worth it since navigating through food in these small mountains towns in Colombia can be tough. I'd highly recommend it. If we stay another night here, we will end up there for dinner again.

Delicious food for everyone - Edit
The food was really delicious! We had the rice dish and a big quinoa rice salad (fotos), the portions were really big and the price is justified! I really recommend this restaurant if you're searching a place to eat for vegans/ vegetarians and omnivores.

great vegan options but on the pricier side - Edit
The location is wonderful and very atmospheric. Make sure you find it, it's tucked away st the main square.Vegan items are labeled clearly and the food is simple but good. We had a plantain soup, a salad and a rice dish, which were all very satisfying. Also the home made lemonade is delicious. But given that my salad was literally greens and veggies with vinager and oil and no special flavours or ingredients, i found 18000 cop a lot of money.

Vegan friendly but... - Edit
Extremely expensive and not that tasty. I think there are 3 vegan options (the Romanera spaghetti which is only spaghetti, a tablespoon of dried tomato paste, black olive slices and mushrooms), a lentil/rice plate (with mushrooms, potato pieces, other veggies) and other than that, there's a soup and a salad... It is EXORBITANTLY expensive for what it is. The portions are tiny. The food is really not that good. Go to "Cocina Coreana" instead. The only good thing about this place is that it is in a cute courtyard zone of VIlla de Leyva, and the place is nice to be in. But the food: NO.

Cons: Very expensive, Not very tasty, small portions, not very vegan friendly
