So yummy, great vibes, healthy and clean, compassionate crew, extremely accommodating. This is a genuine and sincere business that I’m confident will earn your loyalty, too, if you’re lucky enough to spend time here.
I highly recommend the Risotto & the Crepe, but you really should spend the time and explore everything on the menu that you possibly can.

Cute little restaurant with plenty of vegan choices. I made us a reservation just to be safe, but we probably would have been fine without one. The fried mushrooms were excellent. My seitan was so flavorful, it had like a mustard-y sauce on top. Definitely worth a visit if you're vegan visiting the Azores.

We had bao bun and fried mushrooms for an appetizer. Fried mushrooms were amazing and served with an Asian style sweet-chili dipping sauce. We both had the seitan for dinner with rice and a salad. It was ok but nothing special. No vegan desserts on the day we visited.

We ate at Santo Seitan several times during our stay in the Azores. The food is fresh and almost everything in the menu can be made vegan, many options can be gluten free.

I was there in February and it was easy to find a free table right after the place opened in the evening. I had a wonderful vegan ramen and an even more scrumptious home-made iced tea. The food was fresh, the staff very friendly. Would definitely come again😄

Everything on the menu is clearly marked. There are vegan options and you can ask that other things be made vegan. They are also very clear and accommodating about gluten! The food was delicious and still had a local twist to it which I love, as I grew up on Azorean food and miss it now that I’m vegan. It was also nutritious!

We had the seitan steak with coffee sauce and franchesina. Also breaded mushrooms to start. It was all delicious- full of flavour, big portions. Really nice staff too!

We had the Seitan Baobun and the Samosas as starter. The Baoban was so good that we ordered a 2nd one!

As main I had the Santos Salad, but veganized (comes usually with Cheese). It was very delicious!
My partner had smoked tofu with green beans and sweet potato puree, which was amazing as well!
Overall very nice place and nice dishes to choose from. Bit pricey, but worth it😄
Pros: lots of options, nice and friendly staff, bao buns!!
Cons: bit pricey, they had no vegan dessert available
