Serves meat, vegan options available. Non-profit cafe located inside the Toledo Lucas County public library. Prices of meals are based on ability to pay. Has a rotating menu with one vegan dish daily, as well as a focus on local and organic produce. Examples of vegan choices offered include enchiladas with vegetable fajita & cashew cheese, pico de gallo, taco salad, guacamole, rice, refried beans, and virgin margaritas. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-2:30pm. Closed Sat & Sun.

Actual Food

SAME cafe has a rotating menu with few choices, but ALWAYS has a vegan option. We had the fajita enchiladas with cashew cheese, rice, guacamole, Pico de Gallo, refried beans, Taco salad, a fancy almond cookie, and a virgin marg.
This was all made fresh that day (except maybe the corn tortillas). It was literally amazing and I can't wait to return.
The use organic and locally sourced (when available) produce.
Also, SAME cafe is pay what you can. They're making healthy, fresh food available to people of all walks of life.
