Serves meat, vegan options available. Vietnamese street food eatery with a vegan menu section that includes banh mi, pho, rice paper rolls, spring rolls, and vermicelli salad. Reported closed September 2023.
Small takeaway with a vegan menu section. I got the tofu rice paper rolls & the tofu roll.
Had some communication trouble with the lady serving, just struggled with her accent, but turned out she was asking if I wanted mayo or liver pate on my tofu roll! I made it clear I wanted the vegan option, but she said people still have the pate - so I’m not sure she understood.
Anyway the tofu roll was yummy (next time I’ll ask for less chilli though) and the rice paper rolls were excellent!
Great to have this option available as many of the other eateries in Ashfield use fish sauce or have vege dumplings with pork in them!
It can be a little hard to find as it’s one of the ‘islands’ in the food court (as opposed to the places around the edge) and the name is around the bottom of the counter.
The ingredients are fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the tofu particularly. The day I went there was a lychee lemonade available which was amazing. Portion sizes are good.
