Serves meat, vegan options available. Ethiopian restaurant with many vegan dishes and a vegan combo platter. Open Wed-Sun 5:00pm-10:00pm, Fri-Sat 12:00pm-4:00pm.
Closed Mon & Tue.
Had the vegan platter, honestly there wasn’t quite enough food. There were four vegetable things and two lentil things, it would’ve been nicer having more lentils.
The food was delicious and fresh but for this price and quantity, Jambo Jambo is much better.
For those who have not eaten at an ethiopian restaurant, it will be a flat pancake like tangy wholegrain sourdough bread covering the plate with several vegetable and legume dishes on top of the bread, which you pick up with the bread.
It is essentially whole food vegan, very tasty, fresh and healthy. The restaurant itself has great atmosphere and they have burning incense of some sort in the corner.
the menu is seperated into vegan and non-vegan. about half the menu is vegan. It is a little pricey but worth it, there is only a handful of ethiopian restaurants in sydney so is a rare experience.
