Went downhill - Edit
I visited after having not gone for 2-3 years on a Saturday night without a reservation — I’ve heard the news that they’re no longer vegan — but the lack of customers should’ve been a sign.
Read moreThe menu has changed drastically and hardly anything’s vegan. The Brazilian bowl, my old favorite looked like something I could’ve thrown together at home. It’s been a long time so I was excited, but this was sad. My wife and I agreed that it’s really gone downhill.
Long story short? This has gone from a treasured favorite to an “avoid at all costs.” I think there are much better options, and that’s saying a lot considering how much I used to tell people they HAVE to try it.

Disappointment - Edit
I really used to love eating here. I’ve brought countless friends and family members to Sage over the years, but I can’t stomach the hypocrisy of the owner’s bait and switch. What a shame to take a celebrated vegan kitchen and soil it with animal flesh and fluids.

Sellouts - Edit
The way the owner has handled Sage's transition to serving meat is so inconsiderate of her primary customer base and, of course, the animals! She is spouting classic carnist talking points to try to "debunk" veganism. Don't support her business.

Do NOT support Chef Mollie - Edit
The owner of this restaurant (a rich white nepo baby) capitalized on the vegan community to build a following then trashed veganism and said eating meat is better for the planet, your body, AND for the animals… on earth day. She is a clown and doesn’t deserve support.

Our Time in the LA Area Because - Edit
No longer vegan. It pretty much sucks now. We went there back in June of 2021. We really enjoyed the food. I don't know why I didn't post at the time, but I am making up for it up now.

Hypocrisy Afoot not even plant based - Edit
Announced on Earth Day they will now be serving animals on the menu. The owners moved to TX and slaughter animals on a farm. They were always vegan for profit. Their food isn’t even good. Can’t even make a good soft pretzel. I stopped supporting awhile ago, but with recent events, only reinforces my decision.

Sellouts. - Edit
This place decided to announce that they’d start serving dead animals from “regenerative farms” on Earth Day. Sadly, it was not a joke. I hope this place closes down for turning its back on its community of compassionate diners, the animals, and the environment, all in exchange for a debunked hunk of Big Beef propaganda.

Sellout - Edit
Mollie the owner should be ashamed. If you needed to expand your menu with dead animals to attract more customers, then be honest and say that up front. No need to spout a bunch of "regenerative farming" bs to try and justify killing animals. The truth is you, and your family who also own cafe gratitude and gracias madre, are in it to make a buck. THAT'S your priority. And according to you and your family, if that means the torture and killing of animals, then so be it apparently. Disgusting. No heart, no integrity, no morals. Take the "kind" out of your name.

DEATH TO ANIMALS -- SAGE - Edit
Sage Anti-Vegan Bistro's demonic owners announced on Earth DEATH Day they will now be dealing in the trade of tortured murdered innocent animal bodies. Times are tough in the fake vegan restaurant poser business (producing bee honey wasn't good enough I guess) so now, these ditzy doorknobs have decided to step the wanton violence against baby animals trapped in cages up a few notches to add literal corpses to their culinary offerings. Special place in Hell waiting for these clowns. Rest in Piss you crapulent carnists!

Alas, former glory shines no more - Edit
Sage was once one of the more reliable options in the LA area. Over the past few years, though, the quality has gradually declined along with the patronage, and now the owner has announced that they’ll start serving meat (with a pinch of non-science-based greenwashing to season the wound).
Read moreWith so many fantastic options for more compassionate 100% plant-based dining in LA now, there’s no longer any reason to come to Sage.
If they return to all-vegan status in the future, we’ll be happy to give them a try again.

Great variety - Edit
Our friends took us here when visiting. We were super overwhelmed with the number of choices and variety of menu items we just ordered pizza (which was a mistake). Yes, it was great pizza, but we missed out on all the amazing entrees. We got to try some great cauliflower wings, pizza, and meatloaf, and they have a nice drink menu as well. The restaurant is beautiful, and we were able to sit at a large table outside since we had a group of 8. The service was fantastic and I would love to come back some day.

Hair in my food - Edit
I came to this spot religiously for months. Unfortunately the last time I

I let my server know (he was so kind) and he told the manager on duty that day but she didn't seem to care. All she did was give me a $4 discount. I didn't expect get my whole meal free or anything but I also didn't

Found this place on a random search. The atmosphere is great and definitely fits in with Dodger Stadium in the back drop. They played the game on the TV’s which just added to their overall appeal. Nice place, good food - Edit
A very nice place, with nice people and a good atmosphere. The menu has lots of vegan options, relatively healthy and different types of foods so there is something for everyone. The price was acceptable for the amount of food, especially considering the area. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try any of the beers they are selling, but those looked very appealing as well.

Cauli-wings keep me coming back! - Edit
The Cauli wings (not the 3 wing platter!) are exquisite. In fact, they’re so good they’re almost mythical.

This particular visit I had the avo cali pesto burger and it was good - the highlight had been the miso bowl and lasagne.
