Good Vegan lunch option

As other reviews have noted, the vegan wraps and the vegan Reuben are both good choices.

Pros: Multiple vegan options , Outdoor seating , Reasonably priced

Cons: Parking might be a challenge depending on the time

Great Reuben

I have the tempeh Reuben and it was excellent. It did have quite a bit of mustard on it, which I loved. They don’t seem to mind special requests so you can leave it off.

Pros: Food was great, Nice Pario

Vegan choices, food pretty good

I ordered a Wendy burrito, which looked more like a quesadilla. My husband ordered the Reuben. My burrito was very good - I liked the curried tofu. My husband really liked the Reuben. They have gluten free tortillas and bread - both were better than average.

Pros: Several vegan choices , Nice outdoor seating, dog friendly

Slow service - mediocre food

The Ruben was inedible. I just couldn’t stomach it. The breakfast burrito wasn’t much better. On an up note the shakes are super tasty.

Pros: Purple smoothie was amazing. , Cute place.

Cons: Took forever to get our food. , Food was not tasty. Salty and Greasy.

Burritos, Salads, and Sandwiches

5 out of 7 smoothies are naturally vegan. Lots of vegetarian options. Half of the breakfast burritos are vegetarian, but only one is vegan. A vegetarian breakfast sandwich is also available.
For lunch, I got the Sheruben and substituted vegan cheese for the Swiss at not extra charge. My companion got the falafel salad without the yogurt sauce, they substituted a vegan creamy cucumber and cilantro sauce also at no extra charge.
For breakfast I got the ovo-lacto-vegetarian Southwestern Burrito (the spicy version isn’t really spicy, but they have hot sauce available). My companion got the Wendy Burrito (vegan tofu scramble with vegan cheese and veggies) on a gluten-free tortilla. The tofu had a curry flavor, very flavorful tofu. Excellent. Generous burrito portions. We also got the Zen Master matcha smoothie without the agave (we don’t like sweet things much). Very creamy, very tasty.
They seem able to make nearly anything on the menu vegan and don’t charge extra for it. Gluten-free options are available too.
I recommend getting hear between 11 & 11:30, before the lunch rush. Breakfast is available all day, with lunch starting at 11am. Lunch has more vegan options.

Vegan breakfast burrito

Not a ton of vegan options, but with a burrito like this I wouldn’t want to order anything else anyway. Great smoothies too!

Great although cross contaminated

I loved the wendy burrito till i saw how they cooked it, on a hot plate with all the other meat. The food is pretty greasy and unhealthy feeling but really tasty and cheap. Since it is cross contaminated with meat, i am no longer gonna eat here.

Pros: Tasty, Cheap

Cons: Meat juices

Best Burritos and Fries

Going to Ruby's after going for a long run or a trip to Mt. Mcloughlin is a tradition. You can't go wrong with any of their burrito options, and the fries are literally the best fries I have ever had. You can't miss the vegan reuben or vegan cheesesteak either! I come here with my non-vegan parents when they visit and they love the vegan food too!

Pros: ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS

Cons: I always end up eating way too much here😂

Great vegan options

I was delighted to see they have a whole veggie section of their menu, when I asked they said that everything in that section is vegan. I've been looking for a good burrito within walking distance, the Lunch Burro is delicious with seasoned beans, rice, and peppers, and a greens and cabbage salad with cilantro dressing on the side. My husband had the Veggie Steak, and said the sauce was amazing with the marinated tempeh.

Pros: Excellent vegan options, Cozy and hip, Not too expensive

Cons: A little cramped inside, Kind of noisy, Limited drink menu

Nice meal

My wife and I had dinner here while staying at a nearby Airbnb. The service was great and the place had a lot of charm. We had cocktails - a mojito and a margarita - both of which were quite good. She had the garden salad which was excellent. I had the “Rubenstein” which was okay but a bit disappointing since it did not come with a side, it had too much mustard, and they forgot to put the vegan cheese on it. Nonetheless, it was a decent place and I’d be willing to return someday and try one of the other veg options.

Pleasantly surprised by this place!

I came here last year when I wasn't vegan yet for their breakfast burritos and this year didn't realize they have such great options until I got there! I got the veggie steak which is their veggie version of a Philly cheese steak. It's made with tempeh and you can substitute for house made vegan cheese sauce and vegan mayo! It was the bomb! Best vegan version of a classically meat filled meal I've had since going vegan 4 months ago. This is the [censored] I was waiting for!
My partner got the veggie burger which was pretty typical but still vegan cheese and toppings for the win!

Pros: Plenty of veggie options , vegan cheese sauce was best I've had, Love the atmosphere

Cons: Not too expensive but would be nice if price inclu

So good!

I've gone twice so far. The first time I got a vegan curried tofu breakfast burrito, which was so good that I've been trying to replicate at home ever since. The second time I had a wet burrito with a side salad and cilantro dressing. I enjoyed every single bite! Definitely need to try more there.

Pros: a few good vegan options, vegetarian menu can be made vegan, cute environment

Cons: only open for breakfast and lunch, limited seating

Loved Our Meals

Just enjoyed Wendy's Burrito, a curry tofu scramble with onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, organic greens and potatoes. It was so good! Can't wait for the chance to return when we visit Ashland again and try other things on the menu. This will certainly be a regular stop on our stops in Ashland.

Pros: Excellent food, Terrific staff, Downtown - Close to Theater
