The place is so great that almost year later I’m still thinking about coming back to Athens and going there. Their menu is really nice with different cuisines mixing Jamaica, Greece and India. Obviously food is great. Owner is really friendly as is the whole family in the kitchen, place itself has great atmoshpere, made me feel like paying visit to my friends. Personal recommendation is to already order multiple gyros as it’s so tasty.

Probably the best vegan food in Athens - Edit
Very delicious vegan Souvlaki in the middle of Exarchia, a wonderful quarter in Athens! We are in Greece for two months and visit them very, very often, because we like this food so much😄The guy working there is very nice, friendly and always gives us good advice and ideas for our trip. We strongly recommand Roots Food And Culture, everyone should try it! :).

I am a London born, Nigerian raised meat eater, so believe me when i say this is probably one of the best things I've every eaten that didn't contain animal.. tasty foods through and through. Made me substitute my diet!! If this is what meat free tastes like, I'm all in..(and the tunes?!!! Banging!) If you're every in the vicinity, stop for a bite.. you'll be very glad you did

Best Vegan Place I have ever been to. We tried and we tried. We been here at least 5 times in 10 days. Every time we tried a vegan place we had to come back here. Best Gyros (Soybased).. Burgers are amazing. SchnitzelBurger was so Nice I had to go there twice. We had Jamaican Rice and Peas which was the best Rice dish I ever had in my entire life. The combination coconut red beans and Rice with the Gyros and Tsaziki is a Signature Dish. Absolutely amazing. Oh yes and the cold Ginger Beer was so perfect to it ***** 5 stars

This is hands down my favourite vegan place in Athens. The food is INCREDIBLE and so cheap. I visited a number of times, and brought my non-vegan mate who took one bite of the Soy Gyros and declared it was in the Top 3 that he’d ever had. I tried the Soy Gyros, Souzukakia, and the Schnitzel (in a wrap), and the Soy Gyros is definitely the best vegan food I had in Athens, and one of the best things I’ve ever had in my 4 years of being vegan. Tewo and his family are so beautiful and welcoming and incredible cooks. Definitely worth a visit! Super highly recommended! ☺️
