Absolute favorite during my stay in Worcester! - Edit
It was so hard to decide on a dish because the variety is large and delicious. I really liked the vibe of the place! And it honestly had better food than some completely vegan places. I will return! Can recommend the Mac and Cheese and the glutenfree vegan cookies!

Extensive vegan menu with amazing food - Edit
I Typically get a breakfast sandwich (with chorizo) or the mac and cheese and recommend both. Portions are filling and staff is super friendly. I wish they didn't get rid of their vegan mac and cheese flatbread :(

I keep going back! - Edit
I just love the food! I've been there several times and have never had a meal I didn't really enjoy! The mac and cheese is my favorite and it's offered as a side so go for it. The service is good too. It's a little on the expensive side but well worth it. Parking can be a challenge but its well worth a little walk if need be.
Read moreI tried to give 5 stars but can't because Happy Cow doesn't allow it because they aren't vegan only. I get that but the vegan options are clearly identified and great.
Pros: Great food, Clearly marked vegan options, Nice service and atmosphere.
Cons: Parking can be difficult.

newly added donuts are awesome, i would venture so far as to say they rival the veggie galaxy ones (i live closer to Worcester so this works out in my favor!! not that I'd stop going to veggie g)
overall, totally worth a trip to this little local gem
Pros: awesome food, book store, local
Cons: pricy, but justified

Delicious Food, Cute Atmosphere - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious - perfect for my group of friends with all different food restrictions/preferences. The book store is adorable and the staff is super friendly. My only complaint is how small the place is - there are only a small handful of tables in tight quarters, and a lot of patrons stayed long past they were done eating, taking up precious table space. That being said, though, I would absolutely go back - there's so many delicious things on the menu, and I can't wait to try them all!

What a gem! - Edit
We were headed to Maine and searching for a place with vegan breakfast options on the way. Luckily we decided to stop at this gem! You walk into a bookstore / cafe which is just a fun and unique vibe. We were instantly greeted by Matty behind the counter who was super sweet and helpful. I was pleased to see so many vegan options. I decided to go with the R&P Griddler and I was NOT disappointed. It was soooo good especially with the addition of maple syrup! It just elevated the sandwich to another level. I for sure couldn’t leave without some sweet treats especially one of their vegan cinnamon buns! If I am ever back out this way I will for sure be stopping here again!

Fantastic Find - Edit
My husband and I just got root and press for the first time, and we’re very impressed. I got the vegan egg salamino piccante with a side of home fries, and he got the vegan BEMAS (bacon egg mayo avocado spinach) with a side of mac and cheese. The sandwiches and sides were filling, and delicious! We also got an iced coffee, and latte, and there was no up charge for nondairy milk. Would absolutely recommend, and looking forward to bringing nonvegan friends as there are extensive vegan, nonvegan, soy free, and gluten free options.

BEYOND AMAZING FOOD - Edit
Insanely good vegan food that doesn’t not lack flavor and taste and has ample options for both breakfast an lunch. (They only serve dinner 2 nights a week) As well as 5-6 vegan milkshakes! I ordered the Chicken Sammie and it couldn’t have been more delicious. I also tried the vegan Mac and it was probably the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted. A must visit.

So Many Vegan Choices! - Edit
I went there on a vegan dinner night and it was amazing. It’s nice to look at an entire menu and know it’s all vegan. So many choices! The “wings” are great and the burger was huge. It was nice to have a vegan dinner option in the area. I will be back to try other menu options!

Awesome vegan options - Edit
We stopped at this small bookstore/cafe while passing through on a road trip. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and there were several clearly-marked vegan options. We got the vegan supreme on a jalapeno sriracha bagel (breakfast sandwich), the chicken sandwich - both were delicious - and a side of mac&cheese which was super creamy and had a nice crispy breadcrumb topping. The roll on the chicken sandwich was so fresh, tasted homemade. They also brew their own chai and said there's no honey, like most chai concentrates cafes use, so yay vegan chai latte! We didn't try any of the milkshakes but they had 9 different vegan flavors made with oatmilk ice cream. Would definitely recommend!
