Disappointing - Edit
The vegan menu is small, safe and rather boring if I am being honest and sorbet as a dessert is a cop out, takes me back decades when it was the only option, alongside fruit salad and I expect much more in 2021. Unfortunately vegan wines were not labelled on the wine list, maybe they think vegans do not drink, so I did some quick research and found quite a few were vegan.
Read moreThe menu is heavily reliant on bread and wheat, so we shared a mushroom bruschetta and olives to start, which were delicious. The mushroom bruschetta was one of the best ever, absolutely scrumptious and in hindsight I would have had a large portion of this as a main course. The menu described the pizza as Napoletana style, but it was a far cry from Neapolitan pizza I have eaten in Naples. The base was slightly tough and shiny, I thought it had been brushed with oil and went harder as the pizza cooled and daft as it sounds had too much tomato sauce and topping on, in this case less is more. The pizza also lacked salt and this comes from someone who does not use much salt in my cooking.
I was disappointed with our visit, although service was excellent from front of house, but the mushroom bruschetta was the star dish, I could have eaten tons of it.
Would I go back, maybe if they improved the vegan options, added some lighter non bread dishes and ditched the apple sorbet. However this is Padstow they have a captive audience apparent by how many people queued up and were turned away at the front door.
Pros: Small vegan menu
Cons: Unimaginative vegan options, heavily bread reliant, No desserts apart from apple sorbet, Vegan wines not labelled

Amazing food! - Edit
We had a cracking lunch here! A small menu (3 starters and 4 mains) but ALL exceptional. We had bruschetta to start which was very tasty! We had a pizza and the spaghetti for main- the pizza was great thanks to the great tasting dough. The spaghetti was rich, full and delicious (possibly better than the pizza). Service was faultless too. Highly recommended.

Great Pizza and friendly staff! - Edit
Rojano's has a separate small vegan menu. We both had different pizza's which were very tasty, they didn't have vegan cheese but we're nice enough without. I'd definitely recommend the sorbet for desert! Staff are really friendly and can't help you enough.
