BIG tasty dinners! - Edit
The chef has a real flair for creating very hearty and colourful food....and it is piled high! (No dainty dinners here haha). The thing that I love most is that he uses ingredients that he has either grown at the Realm...or made himself! Everything is made from scratch....mayonnaise, kimchi, dandelion 'honey'... I tasted pickled crabapples here for the first time, and loved them😊
Read morePros: Quirky twists like edible flowers atop dessert!, Portion sizes are VERY generous! 😁, Home made mayo, dandelion 'honey' etc

Incredible vegan food in incredible surroundings. - Edit
I came here to stay in Robin's cottage. I didn't even think there would be food, but when I got here it was clear that Robin's food is just as good as the incredible surroundings and the beautiful cottage.
Read moreEach night I was there I was treated to delicious home-cooked vegan food. Much of it used ingredients sourced from Robin's own (and large) vegetable garden. It was all prepared with love, and all tasted incredible. We even had apple chutneys using apples from Robin's own trees.
Each night the menu was tasty and varied. From tarts to stews and everything in between, the portions were generous and I went to bed a very very happy man.
I arrived at Robin's place a meat-eater, and left a vegan. That isn't to say Robin preached at me until I felt guilty. Not at all - Robin let the food speak for itself. I came away with a new appreciation of the place that vegan food can play in my life. Rather than preach, Robin used his skills in the kitchen to produce vegan food that spoke for itself. He didn't need to convince me, because the food did the talking.
Come here for a warm bed, a cosy cottage and the best vegan food for miles.
Pros: Vegan food, Locally sourced food, Beautiful surroundings/accommodation
Cons: Nothing

An absolute must for everyone! - Edit
I stayed at robins realm back in April and for the three nights I was there I had meals cooked for me by the owner. The food was absolutely stunning! Simply the best vegan cooking I've ever had, and being a city dweller I've been to a lot of vegan restaurants. The food is wholesome and fresh. No frozen c*rap here! I would recommend to anyone, whether you are vegan or not!
