We LOVED the vegan ice cream. My husband isn’t vegan and enjoyed them as well. We had the peanut butter chip in a waffle bowl with chocolate sauce & pistachio with the bees knees (for my non vegan husband - it contains eggs and honey) in a waffle bowl. They were Super creamy and worth the line out the door. The signage is also very good letting you know which ice creams contain what allergen wise! We even got a pb&j and pistachio vegan ice cream sandwich to put in our freezer for the next day. Go to this ice cream shop it’s what you’re looking for!

Not the best vegan ice cream - Edit
Waited for more than 30mins in queue to get an ice cream and so had high hopes for this place. They had 4 vegan flavors - pistachio, cold brew, pbj and a passion fruit coconut sorbet. Pity they didn't offer the option of trying. We got the pistachio and pbj. The pistachio tasted nothing but coconut cream. The pbj was just ok. The texture of the ice creams seemed grainy. Overall they weren't the best but also weren't the worst vegan ice creams I've had. I guess if I were in Monterey again and my group wanted to eat ice cream and were willing to wait for a long time for just an ok option, I would go here again.

A few great vegan flavors - Edit
My favorites I've had from here are the passion fruit mango sorbet and the tahition vanilla. I thought the cold brew coffee was just okay. The dairy free bees knees is delicious but it contains honey. It can get busy and there's limited parking at times.

Went on Memorial Day weekend and got in straight away on Saturday, but had to queue for 30 mins on Sunday - so it is popular and it can get very busy.
Read moreThe ice cream is so worth it though, plus the cones are vegan too. We tried peanut butter on one day(my favourite), and PB&J (very good) and also cold brew (not that great) on another. Massive portions as well - single scoop is actually two scoops.

Read moreThe peanut butter ice cream was so delicious and creamy. I believe coconut milk was the base. I wasn’t a fan of the chocolate chunks in it however, the chocolate was a little too dark for me and the cold ice cream made it chalky. The cone was DELICIOUS. I was tempted to go back and just order a cone it was so good.
The Tahitian vanilla is so good and creamy I always pick it if it’s available.
The peanut butter and jelly is sooo good with a strong pb base and strawberries mixed in.
Bees knees is great is you eat honey as well. I do very rarely if I know it was ethically sourced and theirs is.
Overall great spot in a great location!

The day I went there were two vegan flavors so I went with peanut butter chip. I was excited for the vegan waffle cone. It was very good and not too heavy as some peanut butter flavors can be. Nice treat after dinner nearby.

While we did have to stand in line for around an hour, the wait was worth it because of the amazing vegan ice cream. The chocolate hazelnut ice cream tasted like Nutella and the waffle cone was tasty and handmade.

I was on vacation and happened to end up on that street twice so I went here two days in a row 😆. They have several vegan/non-dairy options; it’s not all vegan tho so idk why we can select 5 stars 🤷♀️. I recommend a mini size as my dad got a split one scoop (two flavors) and it was alot of ice cream. They also sell ice cream sandwiches and are in some local grocery stores. Employees were nice!

Revival is bringing back the concept of simple handcrafted, all natural ingredients ice cream shop. They offer four unique non-dairy flavors that are all worth trying. I love that they offer delicious vegan waffles and cones that they make fresh in house. I highly recommend trying their delicious peanut butter chip flavor, but honestly you can’t really go wrong with any choice.

There were 4 options available on the main downtown strip, this is wonderfully located and greatly appreciated 🤗 I had the smallest serving of the salted caramel which hit the spot beautifully! Friendly staff!

Loved the vibe as soon as walking in Revival. They had four dairy-free options for summer: Milk and cookies, Chocolate hazelnut, Summer lemonade, and Pluot sorbet! The employees did mention that some of the dairy-free flavors had honey in them, so if that is something that concerns you, make sure to ask which flavors have the honey. They even have vegan and gluten free waffle cones. Reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! 😋

I had a delicious blackberry bar for $5 (a little pricey) but high quality.
I then had a chocolate ice cream sandwich $6.50 bigger size and so tasty.
They do not take cash here!

Lots of Vegan Options - Edit
This ice cream shop had many different dairy-free ice cream flavors, maybe around 5 of 12 options in total. They had some very unique flavors to choose from, including their signature “bouquet” sorbet, which is made with coconut milk and fresh herbs. I went for one scoop of chocolate praline and one of the strawberry sorbet. The chocolate ice cream was not bad, but I’ve definitely had better. The strawberry sorbet on the other hand was very good!
